At the moment we were looking through our stuff to to see what we had and it wasn't looking so good
"Couple of bullets,road flares"Vasquez said and later it on the hood of the car
"I got one empty clip"10k said
"You know What.See if these fit"Addy said and gave him some bullets and they all looked at me (P.s I like that sound of someone loading a gun😂)
"Got three bullets,a chain,and my handy dandy pistols"I said
"I know this looks shaky,but we will find a way to get Murphy to California"Warren said
"Well I'm hungry"Doc said and went to wake Murphy up and help find lunch
"How much we got in the tank"I asked and Vasquez went to take a look
"Two gallons,maybe three"He said after he took a look
"If we get ten miles a gallon"Warren trailed off
"It'll get us halfway to Plainview"10k said looking up from the map,just as Doc approached us
"Hey where's Murphy"Warren asked
"He's right behind me"He said or so he thought."Damnit Murphy"He yelled out
"Did we seriously lose him...again"I said and we all groaned and got up to go search for him
"In gonna be real pissed if my last words are "Murphy,where are you?"Addy said
"Make that two"I said
"We might as well be saying,"Here we are zombies.Come and get us."Doc said
"Murphy better hope he's not around when I reach 9,999"10k said.Damn,it was hot when he talked like that but it also worried me at some extent
"Easy,kid.We got to find him first"Vasquez said
"Well I think it's somewhere around here.And don't eat the bark off them skinny trees.Starts out tangy then goes south in a hurry"Doc said and then guided us over to another direction
Eventually we walked back to the car in hopes he would be there
"Damn,I was hoping we'd find him here napping"Doc said
"That slippery bastard's gonna spend the rest of his days in shackles if I have anything to say about it.And I do"Vasquez said
"So how the hell are we gonna figure this out"I asked
"We can go into town and search.He'll probably be there"Warren said and we all nodded before taking off in the direction towards town
"Murphy"Doc called out
"Ghost town"Addy said
"Nothing but quiet"10k said as he pulled me closer to him
"Without Murphy there's no mission.Keep moving"Warren said
"For as important as this guy is,we sure do lose him a lot"Vasquez said
"If I find a collar and leash,its definitely going on Murphy"I said as we continued to search
So here we are through half of this town and still no Murphy.I really can't believe he's missing
"Murphy if your playing a game this isnt funny"I called out
"Okay,we need to fan out or we won't find Murphy by nightfall"Warren said and we all nodded
"Hey be careful"10k said and I nodded and he gave me a peck on the lips before walking away saying a quick 'I love you'
As I walked through too many houses that held no Murphy but plenty of Z's,I walked into a small pharmaceutical.I carefully walked through it looking at all the shelfs that held pointless junk.Hopefully I do find a collar and a leash to tame Murphy.
I then heard a growl and immediately turned around and seen a Z coming at me.I quickly aimed my guns at it and shot it.Well,I only have one more bullet left.I continued to look around and I did find a leash and collar,hopefully it'll fit.
As I walked through the town again I seen a large building.Maybe he's in there.And then I heard a gunshot coming from the building.I immediately ran to the building and started looking around.
On the side of the building was 10k's sniper and bag.I heard footsteps coming behind me so I turned around with my guns pointed.It was only the group
"Hey was that you"Warren asked and I shook my head
"I think 10k's in there"I said nudging my head to the large building
"Maybe he found Murphy"Warren said as we entered the building
"Watch your back"Warren said as we walked through
"What is all this"Doc asked as there were skulls and weird things hanging from the walls.Then I heard a familiar voice.10k.We all heard it.
We all immediately followed Tom's voice around this large house like place.
Once we reached what seemed like a basement,we seen Murphy in a wheel chair and 10k pushing it away from different types of Z's
"How'd a Phyto get all the way down here"Addy asked
"Oh I hate them blasters"Doc said as we ran down the stairs
"I got two bullets left.Anybody else"Vasquez asked
"I gave mine to 10k"Warren said
"Dont look at me"Doc said
"I got one"I said and then Addy said she has two
"10k.Draw them over this way"Addy said.
I took the first shot killing one.Addy shot the blaster but it didn't go down,so Vasquez shot it.And the last one went to Vasquez also.
"These are the weirdest zombies ever"Vasquez said as he put his gun down
"Zombie fun pack.Collect all ten"Doc said and I ran down the stairs into my boyfriend's arm
"Why are you always getting into trouble"I mumbled into his chest
"Can't help it"He said making me roll my eyes and then I looked at his neck
"He put a fucking shock collar on you"I exclaimed.Man was I pissed
"Yeah,just help me take it off"He said and turned so I can undo it
"C'mon we need to get moving"Warren said and Vasquez helped 10k get Murphy up the stairs
"Is he okay?Can he hear us"Doc asked referring to Murphy
"He'll be okay"Warren said as we wheeled him out of this creepy town
As we were packing up everything to get on the road,I heard Doc talking to 10k about talking about what happened.I looked over and seen him carrying Murphy's blood.
"Hey,I know you don't want to talk about it but I know you'll be okay"I said as I rubbed my hand over his arm
"God I hate the apocalypse"He said as he pulled meninto a hug making me laugh
"I have half the mind to leave this on"Vasquez said referring to Murphy's shock collar
"How bout a cow bell"Addy said
"That'll attract Z's"Said Warren and then it hit me
"I have something actually"I said and pulled out the collar and leash
"You seriously got one of those things"Addy asked and I shrugged
"Well when I seen it I just couldn't resist"I said handing it to Warren
"We're so close"I said to 10k as we looked off into the woods
"Yeah,to think we started in New York"He said and I nodded
"And when we do get him to California,after that,Ill go where you go"He said and I looked up at him and smiled as he leaned to down to kiss me

I looked down at the ring he gave me and smiled while twirling it around my finger
