Yoongi
The three left the woods before the police dogs were sent out for them. Chanyeol was leading them down a few alleyways, Yoongi lost track of everything due to exhaustion. He was not made for that much running.
"Listen, Hun," Chanyeol started, his voice low, trying to hide the discussion from Yoongi but it didn't work very well. "We're going to Hyuk's house. He owes you and I think this would be a pretty good time to be repaid."
"Fuck no," Sehun suddenly stopped walking, Yoongi bumping into him. "You know that fucker owes me way more than a place to stay, he fucking to-"
"Shh," Chanyeol shut Sehun up by putting his hand over the younger's mouth. He didn't want Yoongi to know how bad his brother messed up. Chanyeol made Sehun continue to walk. Again, Yoongi just lazily followed behind, listening to their conversation.
"He owes you a lot more, I get it. Maybe this one thing can be half, otherwise you'll probably never get anything repaid. Plus, he's probably not even home, he is hiding from you, remember?"
Sehun just huffed angrily, eventually nodding in agreement. Yoongi didn't care much about going back to his brother's house. And oddly enough, he was starting to miss the rest of the EXO boys.
"You must know where the spare key is," Sehun said to Yoongi when they reached the apartment.
Yoongi just nodded, picking a key out from under the window sill. He unlocked the door and let the other two follow him in.
"Yoongi?" Hyuk's voice surprised the three.
"Oh fuck, he's here," Chanyeol muttered, already holding Sehun back.
"Were you just gonna leave me with a bunch of drug dealers?!" Yoongi suddenly yelled, catching everyone off guard. "You knew very well what would happen if I got caught with them!"
"Yoongi-" Hyuk's tried to console his brother.
"No. You just sat your ass on the couch all while I was putting my free life on the line?! How could you be so fucking selfish?" Yoongi suddenly felt so infuriated. Seriously, how could his own brother leave him to be arrested again because he cared more about what he owed Sehun?
"Calm down, Yoongi," Chanyeol mumbled, pulling Yoongi back from how close he stepped forward towards Hyuk.
"You know, just because you're my brother doesn't mean you mean anything to me," Hyuk spoke up, standing in front of Yoongi.
"Hyuk, don't," Sehun started, going to put a hand on the guy's shoulder but he just stepped back.
Hyuk's words hurt Yoongi. He had to matter to Hyuk, they're brothers.
"Hyung..." Yoongi's voice shook but he held himself together, almost too angry to get emotional.
"No- Yoongi, that's not what I meant," Hyuk tried but Yoongi quickly left the apartment.
Chanyeol was the only one who tried to physically stop him, even then gave up after Yoongi simply shrugged him off.
The other two stayed with Hyuk to probably tell him off or just because they couldn't stay out in the open any longer.
Yoongi wasn't thinking about the police anymore and just walked around town to calm down. He really was overreacting and he knew that, but he couldn't stop the odd anger.
"Yoongi?!" A familiar voice spoke from behind him. He quickly turned around and a tear finally escaped his heavy eyes once he spotted the last person he thought he'd see.
He ran into Hoseok's arms, letting out all of his emotions right then and there.
"Didn't think you'd miss me this much," Hoseok chuckled, lightly patting Yoongi's head.
"Life is just fucked up out here," Yoongi sobbed. He was so overly happy to see someone he felt close to. He'd spent a long time with Hoseok and grew to love him more than anyone else.
"I know," Hoseok hummed, resting his cheek on top of Yoongi's head. The light scent of strawberry filled his nose and he smiled.
From how Hoseok first treated Jungkook and how Yoongi played off of that, it would make it seem like the two would never be together. But like Hoseok said a while ago, it was the drugs.
Yoongi didn't like Hoseok for his drugged-up-fuck-tard side. He liked the real Hoseok who didn't destroy his body.
"Where've you been staying by the way? Hyuk told me you weren't home every time I called," Hoseok asked once Yoongi stopped crying and they started walking around together.
Yoongi let out a soft chuckle, "You wouldn't believe it."
"Try me."
"With those EXO kids."
"Are you fucking crazy? You do know you'd be sent straight back to prison if you were caught with them, right?"
"Yeah, almost lived that through earlier today. Anyways, it wasn't my choice, fuckers basically kidnapped me because my dumb ass brother owed the one guy something." Yoongi's hand found Hoseok's and their intertwined fingers somehow calmed him down. He was getting worked up again but really wanted Hoseok to know about everything.
Yoongi wasn't a touchy person, so Hoseok knew that when Yoongi's hand gripped his tightly, something was wrong. "I'm sorry everything's been so shit for you." He gently rubbed Yoongi's hand with his other hand, trying to comfort the other.
"At the beginning things were alright, just missed so much with the family and shit. Anyway, what about you? When'd you get out?" Yoongi tried to change the topic, switch the attention over to Hoseok.
"Got out yesterday, been staying with my mom so far," Hoseok smiled proudly. He really did it, finally cleaned himself up and got out. "Things were shit back there though... did you hear... about-"
"Yeah," Yoongi sighed, remembering about how long Jungkook had left.
"Wanna know what happened? You can totally wait if you're like... not ready."
Yoongi shook his head, "I think I can handle it. Better know what happened before I have to go in to see Jungkook."
"You're going to see him?"
"I'm his legal guardian because his parents fucked right the hell off and left me to be the one to turn off all his life support shit."
"Oh my god, Yoongi-"
"It's fine, I'm fine. Just tell me the goddamn story," Yoongi huffed impatiently.
Hoseok told him about everything. How it was supposed to be Seokjin, how Taehyung was in psych until Hoseok got parole, and how Jimin stopped talking.
"So it's that Taehyung guy's fault, huh?" Yoongi scoffed.
"Taehyung didn't mean to hurt Jungkook. After you left they got really close. Jungkook was protecting Seokjin," Hoseok explained.
Yoongi couldn't understand why Jungkook would want to save Seokjin, if it was him he would want to watch the guy get killed. After everything he did, anyway.
