scarlett was sitting on the counter of the small kitchen, a people magazine in hand. it wasn't until she heard laughs and a scream that she looked up. she soon saw her husband of four years run it with their two adopted children running in behind him. bolt looked unkempt and disheveled, while the two twin boys looked proud and confident. "the kids-" breath, "they ambushed me!" bolt suddenly hollered, letting out a dramatic gasp as he noticed scarlett laughing.
"you're so dramatic bolt." she stated before laughing once again. she waved over for her two twin boys, both the age of nine, to come over. the two boys hopped on the counter beside their adoptive mother.
"see dad, moms with us!" cole hollered, the more loud of the duo.
"in your face!" cutter added, pointing at his father. scarlett rolled her eyes, throwing her magazine on another part of the counter, pulling her two boys closer. scarlett ruffled the twins hair. cole was smaller and pudgier with adorable glasses and neat blonde hair, while cutter was taller with no glasses and fluffy blonde hair, but the two things they boys had in common was their caramel eyes.
"I'm always on my boy's side, get used to it bolt!" she hollered back, a smirk on her face. bolt just rolled his eyes, fixing his clothes and ruffled hair before storming off.
