A lonely street at night!
Why do I feel so bright?
The trees rustling,
The dogs barking,
It is time........
The possums go out,
Scurrying into the garden,
I keep an eye out,
For the one I will devour.....
They think they are hidden,
With my eyes hidden in peace..
But they are wrong,
For I am the owl of the night...
That wakes me up
From the moonlight flood.
With sombre eyes....
