staying overdue ,
is something i keep doing
as the seconds turn the minutes into hours
with the seasons passing through.
i'm collecting all the faded thoughts
they're lost in that horizon
where the colours are ,
always black and blue.
like the hollow sign of night
retreating out of sight
i'm walking all alone
fading on my own.
'cause i don't want them to see ,
when the force of gravity ,
pulls me down on my knees
i don't want to seem weak.
silence continues ,
in the loudest of the feelings
that i'm feeling as the hours stretch into days ,
with the song of solitude.
i'm retracing
those forgotten traces i left ,
at the end and the beginning
of the truth.
like the sin of paradise ,
approaching my demise
i'm walking all alone
just fading on my own.
'cause i don't want them to know ,
that i'm weaker than i show
just a fragment of existence
i am feeble to the core.
