Austin's POV
Oli! Where are you? Oli!! Come back!!" I scream.
I see him running away across the white. He seems to be floating. Theres whiteness all around like the air itself is white, yet I can see through it. Is this a dream?
Oli stops and looks at me.
"Please, Oli."
His eyes are filled with fear, but he steps closer. We both run to each other. We run and run, but we aren't getting any closer.
"Whats going on, Austin?"
Oli begins to float upward.
"Oliver!"
"Austin, help me!"
"I'm coming!" I run and jump and try to reach him, but I can't. He's too far above. He floats until I can see him no more. Leaving me here in a pool of tears and sorrow.
"Oli..." I whisper.
Minutes later he falls. He falls straight down.
"Austin!!" he literally screams.
I make a mad dash to catch him, but I'm not going to make it.
He plummets to the ground.
Please let this be a dream.
He stops out of the blue and hovers a at a height just above my head. I run over and pull him out of the sky. When his feet touch the ground I grab his face and kiss him. Suddenly, he's ripped from my arms and dragged away. I'm dragged the opposite direction. I don't like this dream.
"Oli!" I scream.
"Austin!!" He screams back.
I close my eyes tightly and his piercing screams are all I can hear. When I open my eyes, I'm kissing Oli again.
"No! Get away from me! I don't like this dream! It hurts!" I scream.
Ha, there goes my bad boy reputation. I sound like a little girl.
Oli starts to cry.
"I just wanted to thank you for trying to save me." he whimpers.
"We have to find a way home now, but after that I'll never talk to you again if thats what you want."
I look deep into his eyes and realize that this isn't a dream. I must have woken up. Oli actually just kissed me.
I grab his face and kiss him. Bad. Move. He cries out in pain. Great. I forget about how much his face would be hurting him.
"Oli, I'm so sorry. I forget about that..."
"Its ok."
"So, you like me?"
"Well why else would I kiss you?"
That was bold compared to his normal demeanor.
"Kiss me again some time why don't you?"
I survey my surroundings. We're lying in the grass by a lake, with a gate blocking the way out and we're both covered in mud and blood. Our own blood. At least we're not in the lake. That gate is going to be painful to climb over in our condition.
"But first, lets get to a hospital ok?"
"Ok Austin." he replies, back in his quiet voice.
Oli's POV
Austin helps me painfully hop the fence before climbing over it himself. Next, we start walking. A sign that read "5 miles to Woodsborough" notified us which way town was.We never saw even one car. After hours and hours of walking in silence we arrive at the nearest hospital and go inside. I'm not sure what happened after that. I remember passing out and Austin catching me. I guess the only thing keeping me on my feet was knowing that we both needed to get to the hospital, we were both still losing blood.
Austin's POV
As soon as we entered the hospital Oli collapsed into my arms.
"Nurse! Somebody help!! We've both lost a lot of blood. My friend needs help!! I think he could be dying!!" I cried.
Several people arrived. He was laid on a hospital bed and out came the paddles.
"One. Two. Three. CLEAR!"
One shock. Nothing.
"One. Two. Three. CLEAR!"
Second shock. Still nothing.
"One. Two. Three. CLEAR!"
Third shock. Oli starts breathing and I release a large breath I hadn't noticed I was holding in.
Another nurse helps me to a hospital room and has my wounds attended to. As soon as I get out of here, I'm going to find Oli.... I'm not sure what happens, but somebody sticks an IV in my arm and I pass out.
