Who we are truly,
They think our mental disorders,
Make us up fully,
They say if you have depression,
That's all you will be,
Those people can't see,
Who we are really.
A friend of mine,
Is sad and down,
Head always tilted,
To the dirty checkered ground,
She's so sad and no one can tell,
I want to help her,
But I don't know how.
A person I know,
Only chases love,
He fights and he fights,
But they think they're too far above,
So his standards have dropped,
His searching has stopped,
Label him lovesick,
And leave him to rot.
I know someone else,
Who only thinks of themselves,
But it's easy to be selfish,
When you only have yourself,
Because they don't have a family,
And they don't have friends,
Everyone around them,
Has already met their end.
People can be labeled,
By how they feel,
Or their genders and sexuality,
Or by how much they appeal,
People hate people,
That much is true,
But when people hate people,
The world is blue.
