Pulling up to school in my new car I got for my birthday from Rosalie I see Jacob and Leah
"Hey Charlie said you left town"Jacob says
"Yeah To visit my Mom why?"I asked folding my arms
"Just checking to see if you're still human"Edward says with a chuckle it seemed almost nervous which only set Jacob off
"We're coming here to warn you If your kind come on our land again..."Leah said I cut her off
"Wait what?"I asked
"You didn't tell them?"Jacob asked
"Just leave it alone Jacob"Edward says
"Tell me what?"Bella asked looking from Edward to Jacob
"Emmett and Paul had a misunderstanding there is nothing to worry about"Edward explains I couldn't have both of my best friends fighting
"Listen to you Did you lie to get them out of town too?"Jacob seethed
"Jacob"Leah warns
"Shut up Leah"he said
"You should leave Now"Edward said
"They have a right to know they are the one the red-head wants"Jacob says

"Stay out of this Leah"we both said
"Victoria? Alices's vision"my sister realized
"I was trying to protect you"Edward tells my sister
"By lying to me Okey We're gonna talk about this but...You Why haven't you called me back?"Bella turned to Jacob
"I had nothing to say"Jacob says starting off towards his motorcycle
"Well I have tons Hold on"she says I sighed turning to Leah
"I guess I'll take you home"I said she walks past me
"I can walk"she says I grabbed her arm
"Leah get in the car"I said she snatches away
"No"she says I unlocked the car
"Leah get your ass in the car!"I yelled at her
"Alright!"she yells back getting in slamming the car door
"You're quiet what's wrong?"she asked after a moment of silence
"There's nothing wrong"I said with a chuckle
"You're never this quiet obviously there's something wrong"she says I glanced at her

"Is it Victoria? Rosalie?"she asked I furrowed my eyebrows
"Why would it be Rosalie?"I asked glancing at her
"I know how much you hate secrets and this was a really big one"she says I bit my lip after a moment I let out a sigh
"Are you okay?"she asked and suddenly a warm sensation was sent up my arm I looked at her
"I just hate being lied to"I said she gives me a tight smile

I stood in the kitchen as Edward and Bella talked
"Do you understand how worried I've been?"Edward asked
"I was perfectly safe I almost break the treaty to make sure of it"Edward seethes I had walken upstairs by now

"What?"I asked as he pulled me back
"Edward what's wrong?"Bella asked he picked up the necklace Leah gave me for my birthday

I sat on the couch beside Rosalie who sat on the arm of the chair hand placed on my shoulder
"Who was it? Someone we know?"carsile asked
"Just a stranger I didn't recognize his scent"Edward says
"A nomad passing through?"Esme suggested
"A passer-by wouldn't have left Elijah and Bella's father alive"Rosalie speaks up moving to sit on the other other side of me hands interlocked the door opens and Emmett and Jasper enter
"His scent disappeared about five miles south of their house"Jasper explains
"Someone's orchestrating this"carsile said
"Victoria?"my sister suggested
"I would've seen her deciding"Alice shoots her down I let go of Rosalie and placed my head in my hands she rubs my back
"It has to be the Volturi"Edward speaks up
"I don't think it's the Volturi either I've been watching Aro's decisions too"Alice shoots him down
"So we keep looking"Emmett says
"We also take shifts guarding Bella and Elijah at their house"carsile says
"Another protection detail?"Rosalie asked
"Rosalie"I cut Esme off
"No she's right"I said lifting my head to look at them all
"You can't protect me and Elijah watch my dad...and search for the intruder"Bella said
"And for Victoria"Rosalie adds
"And keep yourselves fed"I said
"I'm not leaving you two here defenseless"Edward said I scoffed
"Well I'm not gonna let you starve....neither of you"I said Bella looks at me
"And we wouldn't be unprotected I have..."she trails off
"What?"Edward asked I Scoffed
"Absolutely not"

"Dad I need this"I said setting my things in my car
"You need to leave for a couple days? Why?"he asked I sighed
"Because me and Bella aren't really seeing eye to eye right now"I lied I was a much better liar then Bella but it didn't mean I liked doing it
"I could benefit from some space"I added
"You really need this?"he asked me
"I really do I wouldn't be asking if I didn't"I said he nods
"Alright"he says I nodded
"Thanks dad"I said getting in my car
"Are you sure you wanna do this?"Bella asked as I pulled out the drive way
"Rosalie is really worried she's got a lot on her plate already the least I could do is stay over for a few days"I said glancing at her her face falls
