When I woke up the next day, I smelt a strange scent next to me.
"Ben?" I stroked the persons back for them yet to turn around and face me.
"huh" they mumbled. This was not a familiar voice, who could it be??
"Jack?" I said suprised at the face that turned around to face me
"what are you doing here? where's Georgia? Ben?" I asked beginning to panic what happened between us two last night.
"Don't worry Poppy, Ben will never find out" he said with humour in his voice stroking my face. What! I flinched away
"what happened last night? Did we all drink alot? Did I sleep with you?" I moved away from him, gathering up all my clothes I was wearing last night off the floor and grabbing my wash bag. Jack began to laugh, I couldn't deal with this. I ran out the tent to find everyone outside the tent and round the burnt out campfire. Shaking their heads at me. Shit! I did sleep with him.
When I was coming out of the bathroom I saw Jack heading for the toilets. His muddy blonde hair sticking up everywhere, his blue eyes were the only noticeable feature on his face from this distance. I held the wall for balance still blatantly having a hangover from last night. As I couldn't remember anything from last night.
Georgia gave me evil eyes from her view of me coming back into the camp. I clenched my wash bag tighter and smiled at everyone. "Poppy, why would you do that?" I heard, the only person who would say that is Alana or Imogen. Georgia would be too distraught to say that, I'm sure.
It was so awkward for the rest of the day, Ben invited me out for dinner that evening... What was to come, was yet to be found out...
