London's night sky was a beautiful sight. You had always known this, ever since your first visit to the bustling city, and your constant moving around the country merely proved your point correct. The moon was at its highest peak, the perfectly circular shape of light casting a silky shadow across the lake you were sitting by. The sounds of the crickets and cicadas chirping and singing in the bushes and trees nearby was comforting to you. It gave you a sense of peace you rarely received. It wasn't that you were particularly stressed frequently, but the gentle sounds of nature could coax a form of relaxation from you that nothing else could. Perhaps it was your primal side peeking out from your sophisticated persona, but you rarely questioned it and simply chalked it up to enjoying the nature you were exposed to frequently.
"(Name)? (Name)! Earth to the donna senza cervello*!" A familiar disgruntled voice snaps you from your thoughts, and you turn to see your cabaret's manager, Lucio Ricceli, glaring down at you with an irritated look.
"Oh, hello Lucio. I'm sorry, I was lost in my thoughts." You turn and give the man a smile, which lessens his scowl by a fraction.
"Stupido ragazza, you'll catch a cold sitting out here and night. I can't have you lose your voice before we even set up camp, so head to your room." Lucio huffs, holding a hand out for you to take. Giving him a smile, you take it and stand, following alongside your manager as you head towards the inn you were staying at.
