Mergh,I didn't know what to do,my dads here,last time I seen him he was bullying my big sister and I hated him for it,I told him never to speak to me again and he did,he text me off his phone when i was in hospital,I thought my nan didn't speak to him anyways.
Awkwardly standing in the door way,nan smiling at and john aka dad was looking at me,I didn't even know what to do.
'Hi babe,what brings you here' nana asked calmly
'Package,dropped at our for you off jess' I replied
My dad was still looking at me,it's hard to believe he looks so different from when I last seen him months ago,he looked clean,shaven and right. He looks like a younger man than his age.
'Libby,im so glad your okay,I'm so glad your not dead,I'm so glad your still here' my dad churped up
'Sometimes I wish it had of worked and I wasn't still here,like today' I spoke back

Wow he has some nerve talking to me at least he's being okay I guess,I walked and sat next to nana and dad faced us both.
'Im so sorry for the first time we met,I will admit I was on drugs back then but this time I'm honestly not lying,since getting arrested and fined back then I've stopped,I've sorted myself out I have a job and I'm moving on with life,I want to be apart of the most important things in life which are my children,well you..jess,john and josh hate me but you maybe we could give it ago' he asked

R: yes,since the day he got arrested the police gave him one last warning he's clean,we have moved house since to get away from his friends that imply him the drugs
M: orite I just don't know what to believe,he lied to me the first time we met..what street

R: he's not actually your dads,he's two and I got with your dad when I was 6 months pregnant,he's called Layton john nelson
M: so he calls my dad..dad
R: yeah he's on the birth certificate

Shit,they moved onto cross grove street,that the street next to jesy's,shoot I can't say where we live at all. I went back to the living room and handed him his phone back and sat next to my nana. He smiled and I smiled back.
'Okay john,here goes I am willing to give you a chance,just one and you have to prove to me your changed,no smoking,no drinking no drugs nothing,i mean it,I found out you have done any of those and you will never see me again' I scolded
'Thankyou Libby,I promise I'm going to make this up to you,we have moved house away from my wrong friends,I can't wait for you to meet layton and Rachel they will love you I promise' he practically squeeled
'So nan how you been' I asked
'The usual,miss you and your brothers and sister,I wish you would come round more,I'm getting old I mean I don't have much time left,it will only be a matter of months before I'm gone and I want to spend it with my grandchildren,I want to spend these last few moments with you' she said

'Im dying Libby,I have an infection in my blood and it's to late to do out about it' she cried

'Erm I have to go now,mums just beeped,I'll call you soon dad you got my number you text me back in hospital'
'Libby here take this,I only have £50 on me well £100 but I'm off shopping in a minute for new pjs for Layton and some food for tea tonight,it's not much but I will take you out next week,love you' my dad gave me money
I didn't know what to make of this,I was worried and scared how this could turn out,will it be good or bad?
I hopped in the car and it was a silent drive to McDonald's and a silent drive home,mum asked several times what was up I just ignored her or told her I was fine,I am fine well apart from this mornings bullying but I didn't know if to tell her about dad...we got in and we ate food at the table together and I just came out with it

'Your sister here went to nanas and your dad was there and he's changed and moved houses and she's meeting up with him next week and I won't allow it' she told them both

'Did you see him at nanas today john no I did,he looks cleaner,healthier and a lot more mature than the last time I seen him,I will go and I will spend the day with him,Rachel and Layton whether you,jess,josh or mum like it,I'm giving him a chance and you won't stop me'

'He gave me some money before,I am meeting him,he is soon going to be the only thing on that side of the family I have left'

'Nan,she's dying she has a few months left if that'
They all went silent,Abbie pulled me in for a hug and then johnnies joined in too,mum she just stood there and give me evils and then answered her FaceTime call,probably off Jesy,I will meet my dad and I will do it behind there backs If I have to.
