Before you start reading, I want to thank the few people that asked me to continue on with this story. I want this to be considerably more humorous than my other story, but it's also a romance. I'm don't want the romance to happen over night... it has to slowly build until one day... BAM... they realize what's in front of them. Thanks again. Enjoy! Don't forget to vote vote vote and comment !!! Stacy

With the music blaring Anne was perched on her bed shoveling microwavable Thai food into her mouth, it was always her guilty pleasure. Her mind mulled over the questions that Thomas had scribbled in her book. Who was he to question what she wanted in life? Wasn't it every girls dream to find someone who would give their all for the person they loved, at least it was for her. Anne had always liked vampire novels, whether it be Anne Rice or her harlequin novels by Kerrelyn Sparks. Something about vampires was forbidden, sexy, and mysterious, all the qualities she'd want out of her perfect relationship. Anne knew from growing up no relationship could be perfect, those bumps in the road seemed reasonable, and something true love could overcome.
BANG BANG
"What the?" Anne said to herself as she paused the music, just then she heard a simple quiet knock. "I'm coming, hold on." Throwing the door open, Anne jumped back at the sight of Thomas at her door. Her face quickly falling into one of annoyance.
"Anne." Thomas' velvety voice called out. He smiled brightly at her, hoping to convey his apologies without having to actually say them.
"What do you want? And how exactly did you find out which room was mine, are you stalking me now?" Anne spat with anger leaning against the desk close to the door.
His smile fell instantly causing his shoulders to slump forward. "I'm sorry, Anne. Again I was rude to you, and that isn't my intentions. I just want to know you and what you are thinking, but you constantly push me away. But you read this stories of finding the impossible love, I just yearn to understand you, my lady." He confessed as he brought his eyes back up to meet her confused gaze.
"Your intentions, Thomas? You constantly remind me of how my beauty raptures your heart, then you turn around and laugh at my thoughts and my dreams. Its obvious you aren't quite clear at all in your intentions with me, seeing how your not really trying to get to know me. And at this moment, all I want from you is you assistance on this damned project, then nothing else." Anne sighed deeply, looking away shaking her head in disbelief. He never gave up, no matter what she said or did. What exactly was is about herself that he couldn't just move on from, it was obvious most of the female population of this school found him gorgeous and completely irresistible. But Anne didn't, yes, he was quite hot but Anne just couldn't picture herself with someone like him. She felt there was no reason to lead him on only to hurt people unnecessarily later on.
"Like I said before, I'm sorry, Anne. I never meant to make you feel that way, I do want to know you better. To understand you thoughts and dreams, but if you don't mind me asking. Why do you dream of falling in love with someone you couldn't have? Or would be completely incompatible with?" He asked curiously as he leaned against the door jam, stuffing his hands into his jean pockets.
"Jesus, Thomas. You look to far into the vampire love novel, its not the vampire part that is what I want. Its the fact that these two people that shouldn't love each other. Their love for one another conquers all the obsticals in their way, they'd gladly lay their life down for the other. I want that, if you must know. I want something pure, so are you going to laugh at me? Or are you satisfied that you got that much out of me?" Anne glanced back at the clock on the wall, quickly rushing to pull on a pair of flip flops and snagging her books off a desk. "I've got to go to class, so if you don't mind." Pulling the door behind her, she jogged down the hallway taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Leaving Thomas standing there in a complete stupor, she wanted a pure love. Something to conquer all, he wanted that once, but he couldn't get to her in time.

"Hey Annie!" Natalie waved as she caught up with her going into class. "What's wrong? You look pissed." She gripped her by the shoulders pulling Anne to meet her gaze.
"That boy, he just doesn't get the clue. I'm sure he could find twenty girls that want to date him at any given moment but he has to make my life a living hell." Anne pulled away moving towards her table that she shared with Natalie.
"Who? Thomas?" She watched as Anne nodded her head once. "He talked to you? He said he just wanted to leave you a note apologizing."
"You talked to him, Nat?" Her shoulders slumping, was everyone against her?
"Well yeah, but he told me he just wanted to apologize and was going to do so by slipping a note for you under the door." Natalie slammed her books on the table, she smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, Annie, I didn't think he was going to talk to you, even then I figured you wouldn't be in the room at the time."
"I know, you didn't mean it. I'm not mad at you. Just annoyed at the situation he puts me in." Anne sighed as she removed her books from her bag laying them out in front of her. Turning to look at Natalie doing the same, "He just confuses the hell out of me! One moment he laughs at me, the next minute he is completely in love with me and want's to know my deepest darkest secrets. What the hell?"
Natalie shrugged silently, turning her attention back to her notebook. After a few minutes of silence while the lecture droned on, Anne felt a folded piece of paper being pushed toward her forearm. Opening it she read her best friend's familiar scribbling, "Ever thought of giving the guy a chance? Maybe you confuse him just as much as you do him?" Was she serious, give Thomas a chance. Anne couldn't afford to have her heart broken at any costs, she knew when she found that one for her, she'd know it right away. That's how if always worked in her novels.
She quickly scribbled back, "Not happening, I don't feel like reliving my high school career again, no more broken hearts for this girl. The next time I fall in love it will the with "The One"." She pushed back toward Natalie quickly trying to catch up in the notes she missed. Seconds later she looked over, her best friend was frowning and shaking her head slightly. Anne pushed the Natalie's disappointment to the back of her mind as she tried to pay attention for the rest of class.

Once classes were done for the day Anne and Natalie dragged themselves back to their room. Pushing the door open Natalie spotted a slip of paper on the floor with Anne's name written in beautifully across the front of it. "Hey Annie, you have a note." She handed it over as she dropped her books on her desk walking into the bathroom, leaving her friend to read her note in privacy.
"- Anne, Again I apologize, I know you are tired of hearing that, but I truly am. About our project, meet me out front of the library Saturday at 1pm. - Thomas Culper"
She knew she was stuck doing this project, might as well get it over with so she wouldn't have to be within his proximity but for so long. Just then Natalie came out of the bathroom in her comfy pajamas getting ready to settle down and work on homework. "So what did it say?"
"I'm meeting him at the library Saturday afternoon to work on this project." Anne tossed the note on her desk then sat beside her friend on her bed. "I was thinking about having a make over day Friday, you in?"
"Of course, but what sparked this?" She looked at her with raised eye brows.
"I just need a change." Anne said nothing more as they began their daily routine of homework in silence.

Finally Friday had arrived, the past two days Thomas had kept his distance not even stealing glances at Anne. She found herself missing the attention, even more so when she saw him walking across campus holding hands with some girl. The jealous pang confused her more than anything, she didn't like this guy, he definitely wasn't on her radar for datable prospects. Anne decided she needed to date someone, whether they were "the one" or not. After her final class ended she met up with Natalie in the parking lot behind their dorm she leaning casually against the door talking to Bobbi Leigh.
"Hey Nat, B." Anne waved as she walked up. They both turned to her smiling and waving in return.
"So you ready for the change?" Natalie joked nudging Bobbie Leigh.
"Yes, actually, and I'm not just changing my look." She smirked playfully at Natalie. "I've decided I need to date, I can't go through college with out having my fun. So it's time to sew some wild oats!" Laughing she threw her bag in the trunk and shimmied into the back seat of the luxury car.
Bobbie Leigh slipped in beside Natalie, they busied themselves talking about some party at a frat house that night. "So Anne, should we debut your new look at the party tonight?" Questioning, Bobbie Leigh turned to look at her.
"Oh yeah, that would be perfect!" Natalie chimed in looking in her rear view mirror, Anne knew she didn't stand a chance of turning this down. Her friends wouldn't let her.
"I guess so. So we'll have to go shopping for a new outfit too." She confirmed as she turned to look out the window at the world passing by. Anne kept trying to push the sight of Thomas hand and hand with some other girl out of her mind. She didn't like the guy for God's sake, so why was he infiltrating her every waking thought! Not even her mind was safe from the likes of Thomas.
Within ten minutes the girls arrived outside a prominent spa, one Natalie loved to indulge herself at frequently. Once inside Natalie thrusted her towards a particular stylist, "This Michael, he is a wonder with colors. He will make you beautiful!" She smirked as she walked off to get a facial.
"Hi, Michael."
"Hey Hun!" He squealed in delight, from his uber tight clothes and frequent use of bright colors, Anne figured it was safe to assume he liked guys as much as she did. Michael quickly grabbed her hand pulling her back to his station and pushed her back into the seat. As Anne got comfortable he began running his fingers through her long curly brown hair. "So what were you wanting to do? Something subtle or completely different?"
"Different, very very different!" Anne smiled. Michael handed her chart with tiny swatches of hair samples displaying the many colors they offered. After debating with herself for a few minutes she finally decided on a warm golden honey color. "This one." She pointed out then looked back up at the mirror seeing Michael's face over her shoulder. "And I want it shorter, much shorter. In fact, you can donate the hair that you cut, I'm sure their will be plenty."
"Yes Ma'am!" He smiled brightly as he walked away to retrieve the dye, his hips swaying more than Anne's ever did.
Hours later, Michael was finally done, and revealed his final product. He turned her slowly to face the mirror. Anne gasped at the girl looking back at herself, her naturally curly hair was dusting her shoulders and pinned back just right to keep the hair out of her eyes. The golden hair made her blue eyes stand out against her skin tone. The second Natalie and Bobbi Leigh walked up to survey the change they both gasped loudly, sending Michael into a clapping fit, resembling the mother from the Nutty Professor.
"Damn, Annie, your hot!" Natalie smiled wide and she found it hard to tear her gaze from her, "If I was a dude, I'd fuck ya!" Anne eyed her funnily, something told her regardless of her being a dude she'd do it.
"Well, honey, unfortunately for you I'm strictly dick!" Anne sang smiling happily. "What do you think, B?"
"Hot."
"That's it?" Natalie nudged her in the side.
"Real hot?"
The entire group started laughing at her response, Anne jumped from the chair hugging Michael's neck, "Thank you. You are amazing with those scissors and dye." Reaching into her pocket, Anne paid him a large tip for the wonderful job. Now all she had to do was find a great out fit for the party tonight, then find some lucky guy to date her. Can't be that hard, right?
