Will it really be okay?
I wondered as I lay in a shroud of thought.
They broke you, but I can fix you,
These are the words I never heard

They've made fun of you,
Beaten you while you were young.
Left you there to wonder why,
These are thoughts that always occurred.

My thoughts whispered to me late at night,
Your dreams are broken and your spirit crushed.
"But it'll all be okay" they said,
Yes, those are the words I never heard.

I constantly wondered what was wrong,
I tried writing my thoughts in the form of song.
But it never worked to release all the pain,
And these thoughts carried on all night long.
