I live my life paranoid
My mind is now employed
By my worry and fear
That cuts me off from those whom I hold dear
I am not weak
Nor am I strong
My thoughts are bleak
Yet I still hope they are wrong
It cuts me down
This paranoia I fight
Some days I’m alright
But on others, I drown.
