As I hold on to the last strands of hope left,
The cold gripping hands of pain leave me bereft.
Cold and testing elixir cruising through my dainty veins,
Here is where the warriors and the fallen have lain.
Here is where the preachers pray,
Here is where the weaklings conquer the day.
Here is where the strongest cry,
Here is where the torment pries.
A/N:Long time, no update. Chemo got me good this time, but I'm back!!!
I thought I'd make use of my physical pain as an inspiration to write a poem(simultaneously channeling my negative energy in a healthy way I guess?)
