Flashback 2007
"Mommy where are you going?"
"I'm going out" Brianna's mom mumbled and shut the door behind her.
Bri started crying, this was happening all the time and she didn't know where she was going.
Her mom would come home and she would smell funny.
And where was her dad. Where had he gone. Every time she asked her mom she would say he was at work, work isn't that long does it?she thought.
Today was no different. Her mom had left and like every night she cried herself to sleep.
She had anxiety that came for her every night. She was alone and was very scared about what could happen...
Flash forward to about two years later.
"Mom where are we going?"
"You're going away from me for a little while, it won't be long" she said trying to give Bri a smile, which she knew was fake
She had the idea that her mom was drinking and doing drugs but her mom never said a word about it, and her dad.
Well he is no where to be found. Her mom has heard from him in about 3 years.
Her mom parked the car in front of the orphanage, "go ahead, they are expecting you" her mom patted her shoulder before she got out and grabbed her mini suitcase and backpack
Where was her mom going?
"Hi I'm miss Amy come come I'll show you your room" Bri nodded and followed the lady up the stairs
She led her to a room and there was no one in it. "Here we are, I'll come get you for dinner" she smiled and left the room closing the door behind her
There was a knock on her door a couple minutes later. A boy comes in and sits down next to her. "I'm Eric"
"Brianna" Bri mumbled and he smiled
"Just thought you might want a friend"
"I've never had one" he frowned
"Well now you do" she giggled
Present day.....
"Bri!!"
"What!"
"You need to work on your album!" Dad yelled
I sighed and looked over at my computer screen at Eric. He frowns, "I'll see ya later b"
"Bye e!" She waved and he waved back to her
It's been 2 weeks since he left, and three weeks since they have started dating. And it was going great so far.
I got down the stairs and down another flight of stairs to get to the studio in the basement. Dad had his headphones on and was typing away on his computer.
He pointed over to the sound box and I went in. "We need to redo some parts of a couple songs, let's start with you're acoustic of scars"
We went through all the songs, making minor changes, and just making them as perfect as they could be.
Dad went up to grab a drink and I heard his phone ring from down here.
"Hello"
I went up some of the stairs to hear his conversation.
"Hi Justin it's Miss Amy"
"Oh hey, it's been a while"
"Yeah it sure has, how's everything? How's bri?"
"Were good, she's good, turning into a mini me, why you calling?"
"I have something to tell you, are you alone?"
"Yeah Bri is downstairs in the basement"
I could head her faint sigh, "her mom, who died, and the dad that is, god knows where, aren't here real parents, those were her foster parents, her actual parents are still alive"
I shot the door open and ran up the stairs to dad. He looked at me with wide eyes and ran a hand through his hair.
"I need to get in contact with them or something?"
"Yes. Here is the number. Sorry for all this Justin" dad sighed
"It's fine, it's well not fine, but I'll figure something out"
"Alright well bye" he hung up the phone and looked at me
My anxiety started, I started taking really heavy breathes and worrying. This has not happened for year and it was coming back now.
Dad rushed over to me and held me in his arms. "Shh, its okay"
He picked me up and carried me over to the couch. He set me in his lap and hugged me closer to him. "Just breath in, and out, everything is going be okay" he whispered
"What- i- if they come back?"
"They aren't going to come back"
"You don't- know that" he kissed the top of my head
"Even if they do come back, you're my daughter, and they can't have you" I turned to look up at him, I had tears in my eyes
"I just want a normal life" he sighed
"I'm trying to give you a normal life"
"And you're doing a good job, having to deal with my past and all my stuff"
"Hey hey it's not your fault you had a uh"
"Sucky and bad"
"Childhood, I just wish you didn't and that you could actually know what it is like to have a caring mom and dad, and that's why I want to marry Jess so we can be a family"
"Dad you're making me cry even harder" he chucked
"You're about me make me cry babes"
His phone rings again and he picked it up. "Hello?"
"Hi Justin this is Bri actual parents, we would like to see her"
He looks over at me and puts his head in his hands. I lean my head on his shoulder, "I guess I have no choice"
"We would like to get custody of her, we are her parents, I'm sorry but she is coming back home"
A/N

Guys it's over.... sequel will be out soon, not sure when but I want to focus on my other stories for a little while. But it's coming.
