When the child finally looked upon the monster, tears slowly ran down it's face.
The monster it did not want to harm the child but the monster could only see hate and fear swirling with the dark blue depths of the child's eyes.
It lunged knowing that it would regret its decision for the rest of its immortal life.
The child's eyes widened in horror, the last breath it would ever take was a weak
"no".
The monster's teeth sank into the soft flesh, tearing it away and watching sadly as blood streamed down the child's chest.
The monster wiped away the unshed tears from the child's blank and lifeless orbs.
The frenzied sounds of bones crunching and flesh tearing came from the other cages in the dark cargo hold.
The monster's meal was silent and the air surrounding it's cage was heavy with regret...

Sorry it is not as lengthy as the fan-fictions you guys read on here but hopefully they will grow in length. Also I apologize if it sounds morbid it is just my style of writing. Please leave advice that will help me with my writing in the comments below and hopefully i will get one vote.
