Garroth is one of the most popular people at school, people say he is gay but his fangirls tell people he isn't.
Laurance is the kid people always beat up, no one else know this really besides the bullies and his best friend, Aphmau.
"Laurance! How you doing?"
"Fine I guess?"
Aphmau was the only person Laurance trusted to keep his secrets. Laurance told Aphmau he is gay and she accepted that and helps it stay secret.
When rumors got around Garroth was gay, Laurance was sorta excited, he always crushed on Garroth and always wanted to be his friend, but who would be friends with someone like Laurance? It could make people hate Garroth and Laurance couldn't bring himself to do anything.
Today Laurance did not expect that his crush, actually talked to him, he didn't expect Garroth to stand up for him, or even share a secret.
"Laurance! I want you to be careful going to class, me and Katelyn, maybe Travis, will meet up with you at lunch! Okay?"
"Yeah....sure..."
"You'll love meeting them! I promise you, please smile today and make an effort to talk to someone?"
"Ok ok..."
"Bye Laurance!"
"Bye....aph"
Laurance was about head towards class until he got pulled back.
He knew it was the bullies, he gave up fighting, he knew one day they would kill him so what's the point?
"Make sure he won't scream!"
"Ok"
They started to punch Laurance and kick him, Laurance didn't scream, he only cried.
"STOP!"
The bullies let Laurance drop and ran away at the voice of someone.
"Are you alright?"
Laurance didn't dare look up, he knew it was Garroth, he didn't want anyone to see him crying.
"Laurence, is the you're name? It's lovely."
Laurance started to freak out, is he toying with me?? Does he know I'm gay?
"Laurance, if I tell you something, will you keep it a secret?"
"....why trust me, I'm just a loser, you're just toying with me"
"I would never, and I trust you because this secret involves you...."
Laurance looked up to see Garroth smiling, a few tears fall from Garroths face, I wanted to hug Garroth but that's weird.
"Laurance, the rumors are true"
"W-What?!? S-seriously?!?"
"Mhm, I'm gay and I'm not lying"
"H-How am I i-involved?!?"
"Because I know you are too, I want to know something."
"....."
"Want to be my friend?"
"....sure..."
"GREAT!"
"B-But...."
"Listen, I don't care about my reputation, I care about you more! Because friends are always there when you need them and I'm positive were gonna be best friends, really good friends"
Garroth smiled at Laurance and Laurance smiled back.
They walked to class together telling the teacher why they we're late.
"Alright... Mr.Zvhal, I will speak to you're parents about this."
"NO! It's fine.... I can tell them myself.... Ok? Please don't....."
"Ok well go sir down then."
Garroth and Laurance we're in almost every class together, except for one class, History.
In history, they do alot of projects which means Laurance never is with someone he likes, he always gets partnered then does the work, no matter how much he complains it never works.
*Bell rings*
"Laurance, want to meet my friends?"
"I'm sorry but I promised Aphmau to meet with her friends..."
"Aphmau?"
"Yeah? You know her??"
"She said she was gonna introduce me to someone she thought I..... nevermind but what if she wanted me to meet you?"
"Only one way to find out?"
"LAURA- GARROTH? what?!? Don't tell me you already met him! Garroth! How dare you not tell me!"
"... sorry?"
Laurance stood quietly looking down at his feet.
"Garroth i need to speak with you in private."
"Alright? Laurance, I'll be right back."
Garroth and aphmau went over to the doorway and talked.
"Garroth what do you think?"
"Aphmau.... does he like me?? Is that why...."
"I should have told you but he told me not to..... but he does... do you not like him?"
"Aphmau..... I've always had a crush on Laurance..... I can't though!"
"Why?"
"I'm scared.... what if he hates me for not telling him sooner or for you setting us up??"
"Garroth, it's fine! Just learn more a out him until you think it's time."
"Aph"
"Hm?"
"Thanks"
They went back and hung with Laurance and everyone else, Garroth and Laurance started to hang out after school alot.
Laurance was really worried that people would think bad of Garroth, he tried to get Garroth to leave him alone, but he didn't listen.
"Laurance why do you keep pushing me away?"
".....I don't want you to ruin you're popularity for someone like me"
"I don't care about that!"
"Why? Is it because of me?"
"N-.... yes... but I wanna show you Why!"
Garroth let Laurance to the top of his roof, sun setting, smells like rain, it's beautiful.
"Laurance, I don't want anyone else to be my friend, if I had to choose one, i would choose you"
Garroth then moved closer to Laurance, he smashed his lips on Laurances, Laurance was shocked but he kissed back, it was slow and passionate.
"I love you Garroth"
"And I love you Laurance"
