Sarah's pov
I looked around as we got out of the truck.Lots of over grown plants.
"You guys harvesters here for the cure"A man said as we approached the gate
"Yeah,that's right"Warren said
"Your armed"He stated and I rolled my eyes
"Well it is the apocalypse captain obvious"I said and I felt a a hand on my shoulder
"No,yeah that's good"He stuttered and opened the gate and Warren gave him a small salute
"Harvesters wait in the garage until you're called.The others inside will give you the rundown"He said and closed the gate
"Why is it that every guy you talk to is afaraid of you"Vasquez asked me and i shrugged
"10k's not scared of me.Right babe"I said and he looked around not lookibg at me,making me playfully gasp
"Even though you kids are dating he would be wrong not to be scared"Doc said
"Anyway,you think Murphy's here"Addy asked and Warren nodded
"Yeah he's here.I can smell him"She said
"I think your smelling the Z weed"Doc said making me chuckle
"And you two,I don't want you getting high"Warren said referring to me and Doc.I sighed and mumbled an 'Ok'.And then we heard screaming
"Help me!Get it off!Somebody"We looked to where the screaming came from amd immediately went to help.We seen a lady being pulled back into the shed by a Z.
I quickly shot it while the others helped untangled the vines from her.I grabbed the weapon she had and cut the other vines off of her.While two men came towards us with guns
"Told you people to move into the garage where its safe"The man at the gate said
"Safety first huh"Doc asked
"You got a problem"He asked and Doc shook his head
"No no brother.Just here for the cure"Doc replied
"And I'd watch where your stepping sir"I said while he gulped and pushed past him helping 10k with the lady
We helped the lady into the garage and onto the bed bext to what looked like her daughter.
"You good"I asked and she nodded
"Ya I think so"She replied and i watched as Doc unwrapped a pad and placed it on her wound.The three of us looked gave Doc a look,we needed those.
"Mama"The little girl said
"Hey baby.Hey,mama's here.I came back to you just like I promised"She said and I took in a sharp breath before leaving,10k following me
"What's wrong"He asked cupping my face.I shook my head before sighing,placing my hands on his

"Why"He asked and wrapped his arms around my shoulders
"I remember my very first foster mom telling me that.She promised she'd never leave,but a week after she did"I said and hugged him tightly
"I hate feeling like this in the god Damn apocalypse"I said and laughed which made him laugh.I let go and looked at his green eyes,I always found it funny how we had the same eye color
"Let's go back inside"He said and i nodded,but we juat decided to stand watch

"If I have go guess,its the cure.He doesnt want to go to Cali,so hes using this as an opportunity to save his ass"I said and Warren nodded
"Sounds like Murphy"Vasquez said and I looked over at Addy
"What's she doing,C.Z"I asked
"Yep,I think she's got him"Warren said as Addy started writing things on the window and talking to a radio

"Doc and 10k you guys create a diversion"Warren said and then a familiar voice spoke up

"I could say the same thing to 10k"He said and 10k immediately pointed a gun to Murphy

"But anyway taking me to California isn't going to happen"Murphy said
"Why not"Vasquez asked
"Because the whole trip to California won't be necessary.There's a cure for the zombie virus right here"He replied and we all looked at him
"In that greenhouse.And all we have to do is go in there and get it"He finished
"Batch fourty seven is real.We just tested it.A bonafied zombie miracle"The guy said and Murphy smiled
"Well think about it.No more relying on me to save the human race.It's a win-win right"Murphy asked
"No that's not our fight"Warren said
"Please.If there's any hope"The lady said.The little girl was going to die.They were going to lose each other

"Your job is to get to Batch fourty seven and harvest the seed pods"Lab coat guy said once we wete outside

"Sarah why don't you stay here with Vasquez,more cover when we come out"Warren said and I nodded and grabbed onto 10k

"You think they'll make it"Vasquez asked

Minutes went by when I noticed Vasquez was gone and Addy coming towards me.As well as the rest of the group
"Where's Vasquez and Murphy"But Addy nodded towards a man with other men behind him wearing Skelton masks with guns.I stood next to Warren as she examined them.They look familiar
"Who are you"Warren asked
"My name is Hector Alvarez but my friends call me Escorpion"He said and something hit me.I knew that name."I'm the Vice President in charge of sales for the Zero Cartel.How can I help you today"He asked
"Well you can start by telling us what the hell is going on"Warren said and then three more men came.They all looked straight at me before whispering something in Escorpion's ear.And he nodded
"Well this.Just a little business between friends"He said and then looked at me."You.What's your name niña"He asked and i scoffed
"What's it to you"I snapped and he nodded towards me and the three men came up to grab me

And when I let go I jist stared at him.I looked behind me and seen the group was just staring.I looked at 10k and he had hurt written all over his face.
"Well be back sir,this one owes me something"Michael said while pointing a gun to mead.Escorpion looked suspicious but nodded
"Sarah"10k yelled
"Ill be back I promise"I called over my shoulder as I was be dragged away by three boys
"W-why.Are you that stupid to still be in the drug world"I hissed at Michael.God he looked different,more mature,but he still looked good

"So Sarah,still an addict"Julian asked with an ignorant smirk,which made Michael and Sam glare at him
"Fuck you.You gave me that shot,you asshole.You basically made me an addict"I seethed.I never liked Julian,he was the idiot of them three.If they ever got caught doing something bad it was because of him
"Julian stay out if this.Come with us Sarah"Michael said
"I can't"I said amd he shook his head
"Why"He asked and i walked away trying to find my group

"He's gone.I loved him"I whispered amd he nodded and helped me get in the truck.To stop another fight Addy went in the back instead of Cassandra.
"You good"Warren asked me and I nodded before taking out whatever Michael gave me.The car started and we were off again
An Ipod and a set of earphones is what he gave me.I opened it and seen a set of songs,more importantly our songs
"Why are we going south?Shouldn't we be going west"Asked Murphy.His voice made me want to beat the shit out of him again
"Still too much fallout west"Vasquez answered
"We can turn west South of Missouri"Warren said and I sighed and banged my head on the window.10k pulled my head to in His lap.I was about to put the headphones in my ear when Warren started talking again
"What the hell is some women doing out here by herself"Warren asked and I looked up and seen a women walking towards us

"Hes here BaBa.Daddy's here"She said amd we looked over to her stomach ad she lifted her shirt.And just when things couldnt get weirder a face pressed against her stomach,making all of us jump back.
