Styles originally got into the business due to peer pressure. A few of his friends were trying out professional wrestling school and Styles decided to tag along with them. Given his athletic ability, Styles was more of a natural than his friends and went on to have an extremely successful career. If not for this turn of luck, Styles likely would have never gone after pro wrestling.
