"Georgia come here sweety"
"Coming mom!" I walked down the creaky stares to see my mom and my sister sitting on the tan couch. They were humming a song that was playing on the telly.
"Did you have a good day at work mom?"
I asked her. She just chuckled and said
"When do I ever"
I smiled at her because she works so hard for me and my sister. My dad doesn't work but he sure spends a lot.
"Where's dad?" I asked coldly. I really hated that man. All he ever did was beat me. I remember he through me out my bedroom window. I don't think he even knew what he was doing that day. He reeked of alcohol. I sat down next to my mom and hummed along with the telly.
The door slammed open by a stumbling man. My dad. It was clear he was drunk. As soon as he threw his body in here he smelled up the place with whisky.
"You! I hate you! Your a worthless animal that needs to die!" He screamed and ran up to me and tore me off the couch. He picked me up and threw me in the air letting me drop to the ground. He kicked me repeatedly in my sides and I groaned out in agony.
"You need to die! Nobody needs you here!" He said as he pounded his hard fist against my chest.
"STOP PLEASE!" My mom finally defended me. My body was aching and it hurt to even think about smiling.
"No! This 'thing' needs to die!" He spat in my face while pulling out a gun from his back pocket.
"Needs to die now!" He drunkly slurred while pointing the gun at my face. My mom jumped from the couch and threw
herself into me and the bullet. BANG! The bullet hit my mom. Blood splattered everywhere. Mom looked at me breathing slowly. Her big brown eyes full with tears.
"Take care of your sister. Take her far away from your da-" She closed her eyes.
Dad (if thats what he is) fled out the house and left me and Rose alone with our dead mother. After finally noticing what had just happened i burst into tears. Seeing my mothers pale face sitting in front of me.
After hours of hysterically crying my sister spoke up.
"You should have died. You should be dead. Not mom."
She is right
I woke up. Sweating on the cold pavement.
"I'm sorry mom. So sorry."
