A few hours later the door opened and I refused to open my eyes hoping they would go away.
From Sebastian's shallow breathing I knew he was still sleeping and I matched my breaths to his.
"They are such a cute couple" I heard Henry's mate say
"I still think it's weird you girls listened to them have sex" Alex mumbled
"Sebastian was so cute and caring though" Katie gushed
"I think it's weird seeing my sister/ cousin naked in bed after sex" Jason said
"Get. Out." Sebastian said waking up and holding me tighter against him while I'm guessing glaring at the group commentary
When a rumble sounded through his chest I placed a hand on his chest calming him not opening my eyes.
"What now?" I asked
"Amber great you're awake, your parents are looking for you" Jace said before exiting the room taking the rest of the guys with him.
"We so need to talk" Emily said causing the girls to nod in agreement before leaving, closing the door behind them.
I looked at Sebastian to see him already looking at me.
"Shower?" He asked
"Together?" I asked
He nodded and I smiled standing from the bed and stretching .
"I will take you right here right now" Erickson said huskily
"I know you would but we have things to do, people to see, and places to go" I said walking into the bathroom
When he didn't follow me I poked my head back out "You coming?"
He nodded eagerly bolting out of the bed.
We got into the warm shower and washed each other stopping frequently for kisses even though both of our lips were already swollen
When we finished, Sebastian watched me get dressed and we left the room his hand in the back pocket of my skinny jeans and mine around his waist.
We found my parents along with everyone else in the living room with other people I didn't know going over paperwork.
"What are you wearing?" My mother asked at the same time my father said "when did you get curves"
Sebastian growled at my father pulling me on his lap.
"Where's your mark?" Emily asked
"Jeans and a crop top mom, what's all this?" I asked ignoring Emily
"Taxes from all the packs, we need to look over them and make sure they're correct" my father said looking at me strangely
I glanced at Emily who was holding in her laugh, her eyes flickering between the pile of papers and me.
I picked up a pack of papers from the table and scanned over it.
"Is the Ginger Pack stupid?" I asked frowning
"No not at all why?" My father asked
I picked up another pack and shook my head setting them both down.
"Who has been checking over all of this?" I asked
"I do final checks princess" one of the men I didn't know said
"Are you good at math?" I asked
He nodded pushing his glasses up on his nose "I'd like to think so"
"He's our best mathematician in the royal house" my father said
"Then why on earth are you approving these?" I asked looking at the pile I took the 2 packets from that both said approved on them
He turned red shifting uncomfortably "um b- because they are correct princess"
"What's your name?" I asked
"Edward" he said
"Edward who are you working for?" I asked
"The K- king and Q- q- een" he responded becoming even more nervous
"Amber what are you talking about?" My mother asked
"Look at this, the Ginger Pack literally put random number in, then subtracted them making it look official and put their total tax payment as a penny." I said
My father grabbed the paper from my hand and I leaned back against Sebastian.
"Edward what is the meaning of this?" My father asked turning red with rage
"I'm sorry sir" he said "we've been doing this for years they told me no one would notice" he spilled
"Come with me NOW!" My dad said storming out of the room
Emily giggled "they've been going through those for 2 hours and no one noticed"
"You did?" I asked
She nodded "But after I touched one, your dad yelled at us not to touch anything so I let them do it themselves"
"Rose!" Cory yelled walking into the house
"Henry have someone bring all of this up to my office I'll fix them later" I said
Henry nodded as a few guards began piling all the papers up.
"Rose your late for the obstacle course" Cory said entering the room
"I think she's had enough exercise for today" Emily said wiggling her eyebrows making the girls laugh
"When is the earliest I can go out of town?" I asked Sebastian
He frowned appearing in front of me quickly "why do you want to leave me?" He asked
"I have to-" I began
"You are not leaving me" Sebastian said
"Sebastian" I said as he grew angrier by the second
He stormed off past me with his fists clenched no doubt about to take his anger out on something or someone else.
I rolled my eyes sighing and turning to Cory.
"I have to change I'll be out in 5 minutes" I said
He nodded and left going back outside
"I don't get it do you not love him anymore?" Henry asked frowning
"Why wouldn't I love him?" I asked turning to face the confused group making me confused
"You're trying to leave him!" Alex said storming up to me causing me to take a few steps back
"Alex calm down" I said
"No tell us what he did that was so bad you want to leave him!" Alex yelled
Emily stood pulling Alex away from me and replacing him in front of me. "Was the sex that bad?" She asked
My eyes widened and I blushed "We are not mated"
"The moon goddess said that I should make time to visit all of the packs. I'm not leaving Sebastian. Well technically I am but not for good" I said
A look of realization passed over their faces before Emily smirked
"So if you didn't mate what did you do?" She asked
I quickly turned towards the door "nothing bye!"
I went up to my office changing into my spandex Nike pros, a sports bra, and my Nike shoes before putting my hair into a low pony tail and going out to the training fields.
I quickly warmed up and stretched before walking over to Cory.
"Ready?" He asked
I nodded and he lead me over to the large obstacle training course.
"Same thing as at the castle just different order" he said as I walked around seeing exactly what he wanted me to do.
The pack began gathering excited to finally see me use what they built.
"Alright on the line" Cory said
I looked over to see all the warriors and most of the teenagers gathered with the men women and children who were training. My friends gave me thumbs up and Sebastian, who is no longer mad winked his eyes scanning my body.
I smiled walking behind the line and turning to face the course.
"Ready.... GO!" Cory said
I took off sprinting and went through all of the obstacles quickly. When I jumped down 10 feet from the wall I had to climb for the last obstacle I turned to face Cody for my time
"4.33 new record" Cory said shocked
I smiled taking the water one of the pack members offered me. Everyone congratulated me before Cory told them to line up for their turns.
"What else do you have to do today?" Sebastian asked as we walked back to the house
"Go over the taxes paperwork and take Taniah either to the beach or to the spa" I said
"Beach" everyone voted
I nodded seeing the royal cars parked in front of the doors. "What's going on?" I asked
"Mom and dad are going back to the castle" Isiah said
I smiled but stiffled it as I saw them walking out of the house.
"Amberlyn darling you will be missed at the castle" My mother said pulling me into a hug
My dad grabbed my waist looking me in my eyes "You come by anytime, you are still our daughter" he said
I put my hands on top of his removing his touch from me.
I smiled tightly "Noted"
He pulled me in for a tight hug and I looked at my friends over his shoulder, they were all frowning while Sebastian had a look of anger and disgust on his face.
I pulled away from my dad resuming my place beside Sebastian.
"Elijah Isiah pack your things we leave in 10 minutes" my mother said
My brothers both looked at me with wide eyes
"Actually I was going to ask them to join the pack" I spoke up
"Yes!" they both said
My parents looked at them angered by their enthuisiam to get away from them
"Very well then" my father said walking to the limo and helping my mother in. He got in after her and they took off heading for the castle
"You're dad is a creep" Emily said before walking into the house
"I'll be in the office" I said following her inside the house
"Not so fast" I said stopping her
"What I do?" she asked
"You're going to be the best best friend that I know you are and help me correct the taxes" I said
Emily rolled her eyes "Only cause I'm such a good best friend" she said
We went up to my office and I gave her the laptop. I corrected the tax forms by hand in red pen while Emily sent each of the packs an email outlining all of their back taxes and extra charges they have for cheating all these years. It took us 2 hours to do all that along with actually calculating how many years each pack has cheated, and totaling their total costs.
When we finished we high fived and slumped into our chairs.
"The first pack that started this has been doing it for 15 years can you believe that?" Emily said shocked
"I can't believe no one noticed it sooner" I replied
I looked over and saw everyone in Sebastian's office looking at us with amused faces. Sebastian texted me a picture of us and I laughed. I had 2 red pens in my hair, papers were scattered everywhere, Emily and I were both halfway hanging off our chairs and Emily was in the middle of talking with an annoyed expression on her face.
"What?" Emily asked seeing me smile at my phone
I handed it to her and she looked at me "If these are Sebastian's nudes I need a warning" she said
I rolled my eyes "I'm sure you have enough from Alex to last you a life time"
I felt around my hair removing the pens and stood up streatching "Got that right" she said handing me my phone back laughing at the picture
I checked my social media accounts and saw I was tagged in multiple videos. I clicked on one and saw it was of me doing the obstacle course. There were lots of comments asking where I was, how the teenager got so close to me, and why there were so many people there.
Luckily the pack members didn't disclose any information only saying that I lived close by.
"Ready for the beach?" Emily asked
I nodded "Let's go"
We walked into Sebastian's office and told everyone we were finished before dispersing to our rooms to change into our bathing suits.
After everyone was dressed we piled into the limo and were off to the beach.
When we arrived I saw some of the locals I hadn't seen since before everything happened. Every time one of them would call my name to say hello the pack members would go on alert, already very protective over me.
After spending about an hour soaking up the sun, I had reached my limit and with everyone else's agreement we went back to the pack house.
