Before you begin: this book isn't a cliché novel. Though it begins with characters that may seem cliché, there is character development and transformation later on.
There isn't any actual Science Fiction theme (aliens) used in this book, it's a pure Teen Fiction. There's a reason why the title is named as such, which will be clear as the story progresses. :)
