Nao's POV
I walked home all by myself. Words cannot express how I feel about him.
I mean, it's not his fault he forgot about someone who cares about him a lot. It's not his fault that someone is now depressed and lonely. It was never his fault.
So who's fault was it?
Mine?
Maybe I should stop trying to push him to love me again. Maybe I should stop trying, because it is useless. He'll never love me again. He'll never regain his memories.
He'll never remember me.
I'll face it.
All my further efforts will be useless because he will never remember.
I love him, but only on my own.
Maybe I should move on.
As I continue walking with blurry eyes because of the tears about to fall, I bump into a rather tall person.
He had black hair, eyes as blue as the sky, and woah, I must say he was fit.
"I-I'm sorry," I apologise.
"No, it was my fault," he says as he holds out a hand to help me up.
"Thanks," I blush profusely, "Nao," I say as I shake his soft hand.
"Jack," he smiles genuinely, "were you in a hurry?" he asked.
"Nope."
"Would you like to go to that cafe over there?" he asks as he points at my favorite café.
GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF NAO.
This is not the time to hang out with strangers.
No.
I love Yuu and nobody else.
Nobody else.
"I'm sorry," I say as I turn towards the other direction.
"Wait," the guy says as he pulls my mini skirt all the way up. He smirks.
"Stop it!" I say as I slap his hand and run away.
Man, you can't trust anyone these days. UGH!
He's still running after me.
"Wait! I only wanna be friends!" He shouts.
Tsk. People these days. I hide between two buildings and I lost him.
That's good.
I wonder how Yuu is doing....
I can't make up my mind yet.
For now, I'll focus on my priorities. My studies.
