Kehlani.
Sitting on the couch, I flipped through Netflix to see what was good. I seen most of the shit on here though. I picked up my ringing phone from the table.
"Yeah?"
"Guess who?"
I pulled back my phone and looked at the caller I.D. which was unknown.
"Who is this?"
"Amber silly." She laughed.
"Oh Amb...wassup?"
"I was calling to tell you I was in town and wanted to know if I could stay at your place." She said really quickly but I understood.
"Wait what are you doing in New York?"
"I'll explain everything once I get there. Only if you say yes."
Amber was my older sister. She was sneaky but was discreet. She would cover up with fake laughs and smiles. She did some fucked up shit that made me not want to speak to her but I got over it. Should I trust her again?
"Hellooo?"
"Uh...yeah coo." I answered regretting it.
"Cool. Send me your address."
Hanging up my phone, I bit the corner of my lip and deabted if I should send her the right address but I didn't wanna be petty.
"Hey baby." Karrueche walked through the door with a smile.
"Hey."
She walked in front of me and sat on my lap. She pecked my lips then put her forehead against mine.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing I'm just tired...that's all boo." I smiled rubbing her back.
"Okay...I'm going to believe you for now." She laughs then gets up. "Have you eaten anything?"
I follow her into the kitchen. "I ordered some chinese an hour ago so I'm fine."
"I guess I'll just fix me something." She bent down as she searched the fridge.
I leaned against the counter and played with my car keys.
"So I have some news."
Kae puts the food on the table and looks at me for a split second before going back in.
"Good or bad?"
"I don't really know. Well for myself."
She closes the door and leans back on the fridge. "If it has anything to do with another woman-"
"Chill ma. It's nothing like that." I laughed.
She laughed also. "Okay what is it Kehlani? You're making me nervous here."
"My big sister Amber is in town and I kinda said she could sleep here until she leaves."
Kae gasp. "You have a older sister? Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't think she mattered but anyways is it coo?"
"I don't mind at all...she's your sister." Kae smiled. "I cannot wait to meet her."
"Yeah.."
A few minutes later the doorbell rung. Taking a deep breath I walked over to the door and opened it.
"Sissy!" Amber engulfed me in a hug immediately. "I missed you so much."
"Um hey Amb." I pull away and look at her funny while she just smiled.
"Hello." Karrueche steps out the kitchen with a warm smile.
"Hi you must be Karrueche. I hope you don't mind me staying here?" Amber asks.
"Oh of course not. I'm still kinda shocked Keh has a sister."
Amber shakes her head. "There's probably a lot of things she hasn't told you."
"Okaaay Amber lemme show you to the room you will remain in until you leave." I tried grabbing her bags but she snatched them away.
"I'll do that later. There is no rush Kehlani. I want to get to know my sister in law." Amber walks over to Kae and they head in the kitchen.
Sighing I grabbed my phone calling Dylan. I didn't wanna be in the house if all they gone do is talk about me. I know for sure.

"Amber? What she doing here?"
I shrug. "I still don't know."
"Ion know Keh man. Something might be up. I don't even know why you let her stay with y'all."
"It happened years ago Dylan. This time I'll just whoop her lil ass."
Dylan and I were in his house playing 2k. I was winning like always. Jurnee was somewhere around here.
"Do you really think she changed over those years? She pops in New York and calls you. Amber hasn't called you in ages."
I tried to tune him out but he was right. I had to be cautious around her and make sure she ain't in the way but I'm praying she's different.
"Who are you guys talking about?" Jurnee comes in and sits on Dylan's lap, he smacks his lips.
"Baby I'm trying to play the game. Could you like?" He swerved his head and tried looking at the screen.
"And....I won G." I laughed putting the controller down.
He sighs. "Only cause Jurnee. Let's go another game."
"Nah I gotta go. Ain't no telling what Amber and Karrueche are doing."
"Who's Amber?" Jurnee questioned.
"My sister."
"Ooouu I wanna meet her!"
I straight faced her. "No. I'll see y'all later."
Karrueche.
"Wow really?" I laughed.
Amber nodded. "She would go crazy when mom would do her hair. She loved playing with the boys."
"Aw my baby." I cooed.
"But she started to get picked on because she was always wearing sweatpants and or basketball shorts. Kehlani wasn't like any other girl in our school. She was the only girl who acted like a boy. They would give her names like dykey or pussy eater."
"She used to get bullied? She's never told me that."
Amber sighs. "Your relationship doesn't sound healthy Karrueche."
Kehlani walked in and slightly rolled her eyes. I grabbed my glass and placed it in the sink.
"What y'all been talking about?"
"You should know." Amber said. "Well Karrueche it was nice talking you I would love to hang out sometime. I'm going to bed now."
Amber walked towards me and gave me a big long hug. I stood there off guarded and just patted her back. She pulled back smiling.
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight guys."
Once Amber was out of view, I looked over at Kehlani. She just shook her head and sat down.
"What?" I laughed.
"Nothing. You ready for bed?" She asked yawning.
I caresses her cheek and nod. "Yeah but I don't actually want to go to bed."
She chuckled. "Whatchu tryna do Kae?"
"You know what I'm trying to do baby."
Kehlani bit her lip and nodded towards the stairs. I squealed and walked to the stairs. I screamed once I seen Amber just standing there.
"Oh sorry I was coming down for my bag."
Kehlani and I moved out the way watching her. She grabbed her bags and came back to the steps.
"I'm sorry to mess up whatever you were doing. Goodnight."
We walked to our room and closed the door. Something about Amber didn't sit too well and I wonder if Keh knew.
