My books scattered across the floor as someone bumped into my shoulder. I stared back at the books spread across the ground with an exhale, before I leaned down to pick them up.
"Oh my bad." He suppressed a laugh at the sight of me
"Watch where you're going next time." I sighed in annoyance
Ignoring my words, he walked away without looking back. I glared at him showing no expression until he disappeared from the hallway.
"Oh he's so annoying!" I groaned
The moment I stepped into class, I immediately sat down in my seat. I put my head down on the desk, feeling angry and embarrassed at what just happened. Just another day with Mr. I'm a 'cold' guy.
"Hey, you alright?" Kai walked up to me with a smile greeting me
I nodded while keeping my head on the table. He sat down on the seat next to me.
"Sehun again? Should I scold him for you?" He grinned
I scoffed and smiled, shaking my head. He pat my head in comfort before heading back to his seat. I finally put my head up and calmed myself down. It wasn't until a few minutes later when the devil himself showed up. He walked over and sat on his assigned seat, sadly being the one right next to mine.
It's just one class, It'll be over with quickly, I tried to remind myself.
I watched the two as Kai showed up again, greeting Sehun, "Yo."
He nodded in reply without looking at him. Kai took a glance at me making me look away. He suddenly smacked the back of Sehun's head and made a run for it. My eyes popped out as I realized what he had just done. Oh but it was deserved.
Sehun glared at him while holding the back of his head, "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Take a joke." He smiled widely at me and ran off before getting into more trouble
Sehun turned to glance at me as I looked elsewhere yet again, pretending I saw nothing.

"Alright, we'll be starting our partner projects this week. Our first assignment will be worked on today in class ." The professor clapped his hand loudly gathering the attention of everyone
The class had quietly began cheering.
"-and of course with your assigned seat partner." He continued
My eyes widened as I suddenly stood up from my seat. The whole class turned their heads to me knowingly, looking at me with pity.
"Please Sir, can I do the project myself?" I begged
"No discussions, my decision is final. Now I'll be handing out worksheets for you to fill out. It has all the guidelines for the assignment. This is due the day after tomorrow so use your time wisely and finish it." He said as he passed out the papers
I turned to face Sehun. He looked at me and winked. I made a disgusted face while glaring at him but he ignored me and started messing with his phone.
"Listen, I don't want this either you know but please work with me so you don't fail this."
"Why are you so worried about me?" He smiled
"I'm not- will you just fill your paper please?" I clenched my teeth to keep my cool
"I'll do it later we have plenty of time." He shrugged
"Oh who am I kidding, I can never work with you." I got up to talk to the teacher
I was sent right back to my seat with a simple "no".
"Alright, should we make a deal?" I asked
"What kind of deal?" He smirked and got closer
"Okay." I took a deep breath in, "let's work on this project in peace. Let's finish it up so we can both get it over with."
"What would I benefit from that?" He leaned back on his chair and raised his brow
"Not failing." I answered like it wasn't already obvious
"Not like I mind it." He went back to messing with his phone
"....then what do you want?" I asked gritting my teeth
"For a whole month, you will do whatever I ask of you." He smirked
"I'm not going to be your maid." I scoffed
"I guess there's no deal then." He laughed shaking his head
I reminded myself to calm down, he's purposely trying to get on my nerves. I took a deep breath and looked at him
"Alright a week." I negotiated
"Deal, let's start with this." He grabbed his paper
"I'm not doing anything weird though." I said
"You'll do whatever I ask of you." He said
"I'm not doing anything weird." I rolled my eyes
"You're acting as if I'm out to get you." He said with a straight face
"Hilarious." I commented
He chuckled and picked up his paper to look at it. I took a deep breath and focused back on my paper.

"Alright that's it for class." The teacher clapped his hands
I looked up at everyone leaving not realizing the day was already over.
"I didn't get to finish." I said
"We'll finish it tomorrow. Now leave I've gotta go to detention anyway."
I gave him a weird look.
"We're not high schoolers anymore Sehun. Time for a new excuse." I scoffed
"It's in this room." He continued
I sighed and continued working, ignoring his words. Gosh he was an exhausting person to deal with.
"Are we even allowed to stay after class though?" I asked
"Do you think I care?" He replied
"I mean are we allowed to be in here for work?"
"You really don't stop talking, do you?" He sighed
I grit my teeth as I gave him a look.
Around an hour and a half passed by when I stood up to check on him to see if he was seriously working.
"Lemme see how it looks so far." I said
"Focus on your work." He replied
"I want to see if you're doing it correctly." I asked
He smiled at me and shook his head saying no, then went back to working. I rolled my eyes and went back to my spot.
"Go grab me a snack from the vending machine will you?" He handed me money
"Go get it yourself." I replied
"Remember the deal we had? Also, get yourself something with the leftover money." He winked
"I have my own money." I scrunched my nose in disgust
"Whatever you say." He waved the money in his hand
"Just give me it." I grabbed it and left
