NAGISA'S POV
I was awoken by loud crashing downstairs. I slowly sat up on bed and looked around to see Karma not beside me. I looked at the digital clock on the nightstand and saw that it's only 2:45 in the morning. The crashing and clanking still goes on, then I heard a crazy and hysterical laugh that I knew too well that it made my heart pound fast.
Hoping and praying that it wasn't her, I instantly jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. I let out an audible gasp seeing Karma trying to fight...
Mom?!?
I thought she was locked up in jail? She laughed like a maniac as she swung her knife around like she always do to me. But what got me frozen and scared was that her knife was dripping some blood. My eyes went to Karma and I saw him already full of cuts. However he was still standing. Both of them hadn't noticed my presence yet.
Mom's laugh then suddenly turned to a loud angry growl, "Bring my Nagisa-chan back to me!"
"And what? Hurt him again? There's no way in hell I'm giving him up. Especially not to a crazy and psychotic woman like you!"
"Who are you calling crazy? I am not crazy. My daughter loves me so much, I bet she's also dying to be with me again."
"Shut the fuck, woman! Do I really have to rub it on your face? Nagisa is NOT your daughter, but your son!"
Karma exclaimed as he gripped on the knife he was holding tightly. I still stood frozen. I want to run to them to stop them but it feel like my feet were nailed to the ground.
"You're wrong! My Nagisa is a girl! You shut the fuck up! You stole my Nagisa from me! So stay still and let me kill you!" Everything that had happened next seems so fast to me, mom dropped her knife pulled out a pistol out of nowhere and aimed it at Karma shooting him on the stomach. My eyes widened as mom laughed crazily once more.
My blood then ran cold as ice. Karma coughed out blood, falling limply to one knee as he dropped the knife he was holding. I heard him grumble, "Fuck you, woman..." before collapsing to the ground.
"Karma!" I screamed running towards him, tears began falling down as I cradled his head on my lap. "What do you think you're doing, i-idiot?!"
"Heh, I thought I could finish her off, no sweat. Seems like I was wrong." Karma cracked me a smile as his eyes began fluttering close, "Guess I really can't dodge everything like everyone said."
Karma's eyes closed as he fell limply on my hold.
"Thank God he's dead. Now come with me Nagisa, sweetheart." Mum still continued laughing hysterically as she clutched her stomach.
I looked at her, eyes wide as I trembled. Blood lust overwhelming me as I grabbed Karma's knife that was on the bloody floor.
"I'm gonna kill you." I mumbled as I stood up, my face already darkening but tears were still trickling down. "I'm gonna kill you!!"
"That's not the right way to greet you're mum, darling."
"I'm gonna kill you!!"

"...gisa..."
"Nagisa!"
I screamed as my eyes shot wide open when I heard a familiar voice calling my name. I looked around frantically, beads of cold sweat was rolling down my face. I saw my classmates all asleep. Then I saw Karma, headphones were on his neck, he was looking at me worriedly.
Karma... He's alive? He's not dead! Oh Lord, thank you. It was just a dream.
"Hey, you were sobbing and kinda screaming, what's wrong?
I didn't even realize that my tears began falling down, happy to see Karma alive and healthy. "Thank goodness. You're alive. You're not dead. Thank God."
Karma gave me a confused look, "Of course I'm alive. Why on earth would I be dead?"
I was already trembling and crying uncontrollably. I placed my face onto my palm as I began stammering, "Mum... I saw that she killed you... I..."
Then I just felt Karma wrap his arms around me, pulling me into a warm, tight, and calming hug. "Don't worry. I'm alive, aren't I? I'm here with you. There's nothing that could ever hurt me. Your mum's not here, she's locked up for good. Paying for all the horrible things she had done to you. There's nothing to worry about cause it's all just a dream. Nothing but a dream."
Karma whispered soothingly in my ear as he rubbed my back in a circular motion to calm me down. I smiled under his grasp and nodded, sniffling.
"I'm sorry for worrying you, K-Karma. I-It's just that I haven't got nightmares for a while that I--"
"Shhh... It's alright," Karma gave me a comforting smile, placing a finger on my lip. "Don't worry. Just go back to sleep again, okay? It's still a few hours till we reach our destination. I'll be here when you wake up."
Oh yeah, that's right. We're currently on the plane. Today's our trip to the Philippines. How could I forget?
Karma kiss my forehead, "Want me to get you some water first?"
I shook my head, smiling.
Just him being here in my side is more than enough.
Karma slightly nodded held my hand, intertwining our fingers together. I rested my head on his shoulder, falling asleep again.
Karma's right. It's all just a dream. There's nothing going to happen to us, cause mom is already locked up for good.

"Nagisaaa~" I groggily woke up when I heard Karma's voice and felt soft tapping on my cheeks. And I saw the red-head grinning cheekily beside me.
"Hm... Where are we?" I asked as I looked around seeing that we're in an unfamiliar room.
"Yeah, well funny story," I looked at Karma as he rubbed his head sheepishly, "We got separated from Koro-sensei and the rest so I have no other choice but to sneak in some random house that I think no one's home."
"WHAT?!?!" My eyes shot wide open in panic as I jumped out of bed, looking around frantically.
"Hey, hey, just kidding. We're in the hotel. You fell back to sleep in the plane, remember? You're really gullible, Nagisa."
I looked away from him, feeling like an absolute idiot. "Whatever."
"Aww... Don't be upset, Nagisa-chan~" Karma said wrapping his arms around me, pulling me into an embrace.
I just ignored him and continued looking away. It's his fault for lying to me.
"Still not gonna look at me, eh?" I suddenly yelped in surprise when Karma carried me and threw me on the bed. He began crawling on top of me.
"Hey, what's the big idea, Karma?!?" I screamed at the idiot above me, trying to push him off me.
"Hehe... Think you could sleep tonight, huh?" He smirked at me, I already know what he meant by that. Ever since our first time... He almost never let me have a good night sleep.
"Ugh! Not now! Not tonight, baka! I'm still tired." I said as I squirmed around, blushing furiously.
"Still as feisty as ever, Nagisa." He chuckled as he then lied beside me, "You're really fun to tease."
I covered my face with my hand, trying to hide the blush that was creeping up my cheeks. "Just shut up, will you, you freakin' stupid idiotic moron!"
"Hm... Is Nagisa-chan embarrassed?" He continued his teases as I turned around so my back was now facing him.
"Just shut up already!"
Of course I'm embarrassed, idiot. Because... Its you!
