Sirius POV
As the train chugged to a halt I could not get Lily out of my head. I just couldn't think why she was always on my mind

My subconscious teased
ok maybe I did, maybe it was the way her hair fell perfectly round her face or that her eyes could look right into your soul and make you tell your darkest secrets, or it could be how her laugh can fill a room and the way she flushes a deep pink when she's embarrassed.
I sighed, pulling down my battered suitcase, why now? I now James is planning to get her this year? So why do I have to like her now? Even if I didn't know this i knew one thing, no one could ever find out.
" You ready padfoot?" My mates called from the platform
" Yeah!" I replied and trudged into the clear night air.
" So you know the plan right?" James asked, everyone. Everyone replied with a grin and nod. " Good because this is our last year and we have to go out with a bang!"
After about 5 minutes of climbing into the night air we knew exactly what to do. As we clambered out of the self-pulling carriage my mouth gaped open. Even though I had been going to this school for nearly 7 years it still scared me how beautiful it was. Anyway I needed to focus on the plan, boy was this going to be good.
"POTTER! BLACK! PETTIGREW! LUPIN! GET BACK HERE NOW!" Proffessor McGonagall shrieked.
" Yes Madame M? Sirius asked innocently.
" What have you done? This is very terrible indeed!
" But Miss we haven't done anything?" Peter wheezed
" Don't go covering up for them Peter, do you know what your horrid friends have done? They have bewitched all of the Slytherins food to trun into frogs when it is touched!"
This was true but no one was going to admit it. Before the feast we had snuck downstairs to the kitchens and charmed the food to turn into frogs when touched. But unfortunately as we were sneaking back to the Great Hall sniggering,we had been caught.
" How can you prove it was us?" James pouted.
" Oh please this has you four written all over it!"
" Professor im sure such a good looking women of your age could overlook a tiny little bit of misbehaviour because after all it did happen to the slytherins" I winked
" That is true but it cannot keep happening, we still havent got over your last start of year prank when you all cursed the banners! They wouldnt stop spitting for 2 weeks!"
" Good thing its our last year ! " we all called behind us, strolling away. And she just sighed
In the Great Hall there was uproar, the first years where standing on tables, many of the older years casted protective bubbles around themselves. But the best bit was when I saw Snape slowly backing away from the chaos, sheer disgust and fear evident on his face.
" Oi boys look who it is!" I exclaimed over my shoulder, sniggering. That was it, we were all roaring with laughter until Professor Dumbledore stood up. Everyone stopped and stared.
" Settle down, settle down! The frogs have been dealt with" and to everyone's surprise the ribbetting had stopped.
" Now I do appologise for this mis-hap" As this rumbling voice echoed aroun the hall his twinkling blue eyes paused for a brief second over me, James, Remus and Peter " Now without further-a-do, tuc-"
Just then the hall doors slammed open revealing Lily Pottter face flushed red, eyes scanning the room before they laid on James. She stalked forward angrily "YOU! HOW DARE YOU TELL THE WHOLE OF THIS FIRST CARRIAGE WE ARE DATING!"
" Dunno what your talking about!" He shrugged
" Your so pathetic! I hate you James I would never go out with you! Why do you even exist you're a waste of space!" She spat , then she wheeled round to me " Kiss me" She whispered, then her lips crashed onto mine. It was wonderful, her lips against mine I didn't want to ever let go but then she pulled back and slapped me. Wait WHAT?
" PADFOOT! PADFOOT!!" I blinked for a few minutes looking around. This time Lupin had his hand raised. " Second time today day mate, you sure your ok?"
" What... yeah I'm fine, erm do you mind telling me what happened?"
" Well after Dumbledore was interupted by her" he glanced up the table at a pink faced Lily. " The food appeared but you didn't sit down you just kept staring at the door like there was a murderer out there"
" Oh and how long was I.. you know... staring" I slumped down filling up my plate with chicken and chips.
" Bout 5 minutes, are you sure the trolley lady didnt slip anything in your sweets?" Peter spoke up grinning.
" Nah I'll be fine just thinking about our MASSIVE new prank before christmas" I concluded. And soon enough they were talking about flooding the corridors and turning the statues into blast-ended skrewts.
why had I suddenly imagined Lily rejecting James for me? This was bad! I had to stop thinking about her, it was just going to get worse. Sooner or later at least one of them will find out. No I couldn't think about that. The thought sent shivers down my spine.
When the feast was over Dumbledore gave us the usual warnings about the forbidden forest ( which I always ignore) and Filch's bans on anything exciting ( also ignored). Once they were done I quickly got up and took the usual path to the gryffindor common room and collapsed against the wall.
Whatever was happening with me had to stop, I couldn't like James' crush of SEVEN years. After all Bro's before Hoes.
I laughed at this reassuring thought and climbed through the portrait hole. I knew in the morning there would be many rumours about our little prank and many pats on the back from other Gryffindors.
Yay class tomorrow
Was my last thought before drifting off into a deep sleep, my mind wandering, all the while, to Lily.
