S Y N O P S I S
Ever since eighteen-year-old Hannah Jung lost her brother to a car accident, she's felt like she's been holding her breath. Even one year later, there's a tight pressure in her chest that just won't go away. She's drowning, and she's not even sure if she wants to stop.
Oxygen comes in the form of Xavier Park, a third-year neurobiology student.
They happen upon each other during a spring break house party. Share a kiss. Ease each other's unspoken sadnesses for a moment. Then, at the end of the night, part ways.
That is, until the beginning of Spring Quarter, during which Hannah's biology professor introduces Xavier as the class's TA.
A multitude of rocky interactions between the two ensue, but neither can deny the attraction they feel for each other. And, if Hannah knows one thing for sure, it's that if anyone can help her learn to breathe again, it's him.
