(Your POV)
The first thing you feel when you leave is cold.
Fuck it's cold out here. You kept walking till you saw a sturdy looking branch. That is way to heavy to carry. You keep walking but you hear the branch snap behind you, making you jump. What the fuck was that. Did that branch just break. Just keep walking Y/n it was nothing. You come to bridge.
"Hey human, don't you know how to greet a new friend. Don't be shy, turn around and shake my hand."
You turn around to see a kind looking skeleton with a large paint brush on his back and a black paint smear on his cheek bone.
"Uh, Hi I'm Y/n." What am I doing its a talking skeleton. I should be running in fear.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ink. Its awfully cold out here do you want to come to my place to warm up."
Creep alert, Creep alert. Seriously do I need to spell it out, do not go, that is a big no go. "Uh, sure, why not." Mental face-palm. What did I just say. N-O no. Stupid mouth.
"Yay! You will just love my brother Papyrus."
Another skeleton yay. But I have a good pun for this let's see if Ink will find it funny. "Yeah, I bet he's a skele-ton of fun." I look at Ink for a reaction. He stares at you for a second and then doubles over laughing.
"That...was...the...worst...pun I've ever heard. Amazing Y/n. And I thought I was bad at making puns. But seriously we should leave its getting really cold out now. Here take my hand."
He holds his hand out to you. You hesitate for second before you take his hand. You feel sick for a second and close your eyes. When you open them you're looking at a really nice house.
"H...how? How did we get here?"
"Oh I'm so stupid! I forgot you didn't know. I can teleport to different places. As long, of course, that I've been there before.
Of course teleportation. Why didn't I think of that. "Of course, how could I not think of that."
"Oh one warning Pap might tackle you with a hug. He's a little affectionate."
Getting a hug from a complete stranger. What did I get myself into. "Okay, thanks Ink, I'll remember that."
"U-Uh... no problem. Let's go in ok."
You see a slight rainbow tint to his cheek bones. Is he blushing!? You know he's kinda cute for a skeleton. Wait what am I thinking, I have to get out of here and now back home some how.
"Pap, I'm home."
"SANS, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?"
"Uh, out getting food from Grillby's, when I stumbled upon this girl wondering around lost. And I asked you to call me Ink."
"WAIT IS THAT A HUMAN."
"Uh...hi."
Suddenly you are embraced in a hug. Can't breathe.
"IT'S HER. I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE IS REALLY HERE. INK CAN SHE SAVE US FROM THEM."
Who's them? You look at Papyrus and then at Ink, giving them a confused look. Ink looks back you and you feel your cheeks heat up. The hell is wrong with me. Why am I blushing, I need to breathe.
"Uh hey can I use your bathroom."
"Sure, upstairs on the right."
"K, thanks."
(Ink's POV)
Y/n runs upstairs. Damn why is she always so cute. I'm going to paint her later, but I need to talk to Pap.
"Hey, Pap she doesn't remember the timelines like we do. So don't go talking about it, ok."
"OK INK I WON'T. BUT WHAT IF SHE REMEMBERS?"
"We'll come to that later." When it actually happens. I hope she doesn't remember. Then she will know what she was forced to do.
(Your POV)
You look in the mirror at your flushed face. Why is it every time I'm around him I feel safe and sad at the same time, like something is missing from my memory. You see a flash of red and collapse on the bathroom floor.
(Y/n's dream)
You're staring at Ink. He has tears in his eyes. You try to comfort him but you can't move. You hear him talk.
"Y/n if you keep going like this you'll die and I don't want to kill you so please stop."
You start to laugh but it isn't your laugh its Chara's, but when you speak it's your voice.
"Stupid skeleton you think you can stop me. You know as well as everyone else that she is gone and she ain't coming back so keep trying to reach her while I kill your brother again and again."
"Chara, she isn't gone. I know that she isn't. Y/n is still there and fighting, she won't let you and Flowey get away with this she will keep on fighting she will protect us all..."
The scene slowly fades away and is replaced with a golden room and Ink is staring at you, his eye glowing rainbow.
"I warned you, yet you kept going." He's crying again. "Why didn't you stop, I guess she is gone...she would have stopped you." You're trying to yell to him you're right here and you haven't stopped fighting but no words came. He pulled out his paint brush and pointed it at you. You smiled evilly.
"Come on Ink, kill me like I killed your brother." You ran at him and he ran at you. The scene fades and you wake up.
(Your POV)
You wake up in a bed. You look around to see paint supplies around the room. I know where I am. I'm in Ink's room and that was not a dream. I know what I've done. I...I... You feel tears run down you're face. You hear the door open. You quickly cover your face and pretend to sleep.
"Y/n are you awake?" Ink looks at you sadly. "I hope you never remember what you did. I want to start over and I hope Chara doesn't influence you this timeline. I hope you don't choose genocide. I don't want to go through any of that again." You notice he's crying, you sit up and comfort him.
"I'm sorry Ink. I didn't know what I was doing back then. And I never want to see you cry again."
"Y/n! Your awake! And you remember don't you."
"Y...yes I do. Ink.
"Y/n."
"INK IS THE HUMAN AWAKE."
"And Pap ruins the moment...again."
Ink chuckles. "Yeah Pap she's up and she remembers everything."
"OH SHE DOES. INK I'M GOING TO SEE METTATON. THERE'S LEFTOVER RAINBOW SPAGHETTI IN THE FRIDGE."
You start laughing at Papyrus' response and Ink is blushing rainbow.
"OK Pap, thanks."
You both hear the door shut and you look an Ink excitedly.
"Ink, I know how to stop the resets."
"Oh, and how is that?"
"By stopping my brother."
(???'S POV)
So she's got her memories back, finally we can get somewhere with her. I look at Error. "Hey Error get off of your lazy ass and find a way to bring me that girl."
"BuT cHaRa ShE's ProTEctEd By InK."
"To bad, so sad. Find a way or I will erase you."
"YeAh, YeAh i'M GoInG."
Error leaves. Soon Sis we will be together again and this time I'm not going to let you leave, you will go genocide once more.
Well, well so Chara's been behind this all along. You finally realize that you are not from that world you are from Inktale. You want to know how you got to the non-magical world you'll find out next time. See ya.
