Someone came today.
Someone new.
Is he normal?
He doesn't think so.
I walk downstairs.
Am I smiling?
Probably. I'm always smiling.
Even when I'm not happy.
I start, to see a boy.
About my age, looks normal,
But his face is opposite of mine.
Not happy, sad.
Though I'm not really happy, either.
I suppose.
My dad knows that.
Is that why he brought this boy home? For me?
"Hello?" The boy speaks unsurely.
His voice, sounds like his face looks.
Sad.
Dad says,
"Hi Phil, this is Dan! Your therapist said that you needed a friend!"
I see Dan look confused.
How much has dear daddy told him?
He's here, to be my friend.
My friend.
Normal people have friends.
He's here to make me normal.
But it won't work.
Nothing works.
" Phil, why don't you say hi to Dan?"
He talks like I am 5. I'm 18.
He wants to make me normal.
Not special, or weird.
Normal.
Does he think Dan will help?
Cuz I don't.
But I trust my dad.
" Hi Daniel."
That's funny, I called him Daniel.
