The night after the ball, after Micah and I went for ice cream and after I did my best to say goodbye to Micah again, I went home to drink my pain away.
I didn't even bother changing, i just sat down on the floor of ny room and drank.
-Flashback-
"Mom, what's a soul mate?" 14 year old Elliot asks
"A soulmate is like a best friend but more. It's someone who makes you want to be a better person for yourself. A soulmate is someone who you will always carry with you forever and never get tired of loving them." she replied with a small smile
"Do you think I'll find my soulmate?" 14 year old me asks
"You will, and when you do, it will be amazing and extraordinary." mom says
"Maybe you may fall in love again mom." i look at her and smile
-flashback over-
"Elliot?" Jackie calls out from outside my door
I don't bother replying and just drink some more. I hear my room door opening and closing, then feel someone sit down next to me. That someone being Jackie.
"Oh, Elliot let it all out" She says as she puts my head on her lap and plays with my hair. We stay like this for a couple of minutes, me crying and Jackie being here for me.
"Come on, let's get you too bed" she says. While she helps me up Martha comes in and sits down next to me once i am in bed.
"For the morning, because you might have a hangover" Martha puts some advil and a water bottle on the stand, before kissing my forehead and leaving.
"Get some sleep, you need it" Jackie tells me as she gets in bed next to me.
I nod and close my eyes not a bit later everything goes black.
"Baby, come on get up"
"Nate, it's to early" i tell my boyfriend
I feel him kissing my lips make me get up and kiss back. We pull away
"Elliot, i love you." Nate tells me
I smile and tell him " i love you too."
"Hey, princesa, look whatever happens today, if anything bad happens, you run to saftey okay." Nate tells me
"Nate, i am not just going to leave you" i tell him
"No baby listen, i don't want you to get hurt okay." he says
I get off his lap and just nod before going to do my daily routine. I don't even make it half way before people come in knocking down the door, Nate screaming at me to run and then feeling something hit my head and everything goes black.
"Baby, Elliot, come on wake up" i hear someone say
I groan "nate" i say as i open my eyes
"Hey, princesa (princess), look at me. Everything is going to be okay" Nate reassures me
That's when i notice that we are tied to a chair and nate beaten up badly.
"You're bleeding Nate" i tell him
"That's the least of his problems chica (girl)" some bald guy says as he comes in. He circles Nate for a bit before stopping behind him.
"Now i was thinking of a way to hurt you Nate, and what better way to see your girl in pain as she watches you die" bald guy says as he takes out a knife and outs it on Nate's neck. Making me scream
"No!"
"Anything you want to tell your mujer? (lady)" bald guy says.
"I love you" he smiles sadly
"I love you too" i cry out
"Close your eyes princesa" Nate says
"Ahh that she can't do. You see i want her to suffer, knowing she couldn't save you, knowing that the love of her life was killed in front of her as she watched" bald guy laughs evily
"No! Please let him go!" i scream as i watch the bald guy cut open Nates neck
"Nate!" i wake up gasping and breathing heavy. I check the clock and decide to go to the gym to blow of some steam. After taking advil and washing then with water, i change and head to the werehouse i have a gym in.
As i park the car outside the werehouse i get a text from Micah.
Goodbye.
I sigh and reply back
Goodbye.
I get out of the car and into the werehouse and start working out.
"What's got you all mad" someone from behind says making me turn and throw a punch but they catch it.
"What the hell are you doing here?" i ask Aiden as i realise it was him i almost hit. I take a step back
"I usually come here, i thought this place was empty with a gym" he laughs while telling me
"Thought wrong" i say while turning around to punch the punching bag again.
I feel hand on my waist and breathe on my neck "you know, i can't stop thinking about you, since the day of the ball, yesterday a certain fiesty woman with a hot body is hard to forget." Aiden says as he kisses my neck
I pull away and turn to him, "i'm not in the mood Aiden, what do you want" i tell him already Irritated
He steps closer, "do you really want to know"
"Honestly no, so can you please leave" i turn around again
It all happened so fast, Aiden pulled me to his chest, my back to his chest as he grabbed my neck tilted it back so i can look at him and captured my lips. I pulled away as fast as it started before grabbing my things and leaving. I can't do this again. Yes Aiden is handsome but i can't get caught up in the heat of the moment.
I get in my car and drive off back home. When i get there no one is home it was empty. Jackie was probably with Miguel and Martha was at work.
I went upstairs and took a shower before i finish homework.

Hey guys I'm sorry for updating late. I wanted to update yesterday but i went job hunting. I found a job and i might start next week. So I'll try update more these three days. Thank you all for the support you show.
