The arrow was tapping my nose, the sharp point pierced my nose, not too deep. But I can't complain, I could be dead right now.
I turn to my right and there stands Daryl, holding his crossbow.
The walkers body, still clinging on to me, suddenly drops. "Thank You." I say, running over to Daryl, I jump over the counter and leap into his arms.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get here sooner." Carl cries, joining mine and Daryl's hug.
"It's fine, okay?" I say, tapping his nose. I then take his Sheriff hat and place it on my head. "Hey, I think it suits me better?" I say, modelling the hat.
"Seeing as theirs suitcases full of clothes, let's empty the shop, we have space." Glenn says. I follow orders, I rummage through the shelves, picking up any food or medicine that was in date.
I fill my bag until I feel the bag is going to split open. I place my bags in the car and then start to fill the boot of our car. I pick up hardware equipment, 2 small stools, we have more people therefore we need more chairs.
I hear the groan of walkers, and turn to my left. Shit, a herd. I run inside "herd at 9 o clock, get your shit together!" I shout grabbing my stuff, we run out, and get in the cars. "Where's Glenn?" I scream.
I see Glenn's hat lay on the floor surrounded by walkers.
Rick noticed I saw his hat and drove. Daryl was in the car behind us. I burst into tears. "GLENN IS STILL BACK THERE!" I scream tears flowing down my cheeks.
"He's a goner, there's not a lot I can do." Rick says.
I stare into the window and watch the trees pass by, what will I tell Maggie, what will we tell everyone....
