Lucas Scott sat in his wife Peyton's hospital room impatiently waiting for her to wake up. As he sat there, he stared at the numerous root beer floats that had begun to pile up on the table. "You know, if you keep letting these root beer floats go to waste, I'm gonna start drinking them," Lucas said in a sarcastic tone of voice. He smirked at his beautiful wife as he said,"I'm kidding. They'll be here when you wake up." The strikingly handsome author looked around the room with a sigh. He took in all of the balloons and flowers that had been left for his wife and new baby girl. "You know who else will be here when you wake up is,"he paused as he realized how lucky he was, "gosh, our beautiful daughter. You should see her. She's amazing Peyton. But, she needs you, and so do I. You promised. You promised."
Lucas continued to stay at Peyton's bedside. "You know Peyton, our daughter needs her mom. She doesn't even have a name. We were supposed to do that together." Suddenly, Lucas was interrupted by a weak sounding voice. "Sawyer. Her name's Sawyer, okay?" Peyton was awake. Their little family could finally be together, and Sawyer would have her mom.
