After changing Lily into a envy blue sun dress and blue flip flops I make my way downstairs holding Lily. Someone knocks on the door so I walk over and I pull it open. Kale's parents walk in pushing past me. I go to shut the door but a girl about my age with natural red hair and green eyes walks in. I go to shut the door again but a boy with the same hair color as Kale walks in and his eyes are blue, he must be the brother. He looks younger then Kale.
I bump Lily up on my shoulder when another man walks in. He is basically bald and he has almost red eyes.
I poke my head out the door before closing the door. Jeez I didn't know his entire family was gonna come. Lily giggles and waves her hands around so I set her on the ground and she bolts off into the kitchen. I follow her into the kitchen where Kale is putting foods on plates.
"What took so long? You were up there for almost an hour." Kale says picking up a plates.
I grab a couple plates and I sigh, "You try dressing a toddler. See how long it takes you."
He laughs, "True true."
I hear someone say, "She smells like a mutt..."
We walk into the dinning area and we set the plates down before making our way to the living room. The red head is playing with Lily.
When we walk in everyone turns to us. Kale's mom and dad are definitely sad to see I'm still here.
Kale points at the red head, "That's my little sister Trinity."
He points at the guy with blonde hair that looks like Kale, "Thats my older brother Alec."
I thought he was younger, hm he ages well I guess.
He points at the bald guy, "Thats my uncle Vance and you've met my parents."
In a split second my mind farts and I decide that Lily needs to be with me for awhile so I say, "I'm Skyler and the little girl Trinity is playing with is my daughter and her name is Lily."
The look on everyone's faces is priceless. I look at Kale and he nods. Lily jumps out of Trinity's hands and runs over to me. She jumps up and down so I pick her up. I'm basically her mom now so I should accept that fact.
Kale smiles, "Lets go to the dining room and eat, I'm starving."
I look at Kale and I whisper, "Thanks."
I fix Lily's hair and I take her into the dinning room before setting her in a seat near where Kale and me are sitting. Everyone fills into the table and begins eating.
After awhile of everyone talking about the randomness stuff and eating Kale taps his cup, "Family, I have some important news to share with you all."
Everyone except Lily turns and look at Kale.
Kale grabs my hands and smiles, "I proposed to Skyler and she said yes."
Kale's mom and dad both stand up and walk out of the room but the rest of Kale's family congratulates us. I'm guessing that hate the fact I'm not pureee and in pack. Like that matters.
Kale stands up and kisses my forehead before walking out of the room following his parents.
