Okay not really.
The exam was not my best one so I am bummed, but whatever.
On top of that, I am working on only 4 hours of sleep.
Yes people, I, Nashra Siddiqui have barely slept 34 hours this past week... and that is baddd... Nash needs her sleeepppp...
And... I am going out with my friends to celebrate to the nearest pizza parlour and yeah.. then I'll sleep. Probably.
And... since my exams are over, and I am wayyy too happy, I'll make you'll happy by updating three days continuously.

"I didn't know you cook" Alpha Ulysses comments off-handedly as he hands me another spotless bowl.
Yes everyone, the Big Bad Alpha is doing dishes.
I basically ordered him to do it.
Okay, not really. I just said that I am too tired to do the dishes today, so I'll do them tomorrow morning, and he immediately stepped on it and started washing them.
"Uh huh..." I hum as I wipe another one of the bowl and place it in it's place.
"What happened to your ear?" I ask trying to sound casual and not as concerned as I am feeling, seeing his right year is as red as a beetroot.
"It's nothing" He doesn't meet my eyes as he hands me the next plate.
"Sure" I snort, kinda pissed that he wouldn't tell me.
Can't he see that I am so worried? What if he has an ear infection or something?
Oh sweet Moon Goddess...
"Delilah, I have to tell you something" he looks me in the eyes as he hands me the last dish- the sauce pan.
"What?" I ask not breaking eye contact, as my mind races through ten thousand scenarios, of what he could tell me; and none of them good.
Wait. Is he pregnant?
But how can he be pregnant? only fema-
"I am not pregnant, Delilah!" he snaps at me with wide eyes.
"Only females can get prenant, Mate" he chuckles.
"Did I say that out loud?" I ask, almost sure that I didn't.
"Uh..." he looks at the wall behind me and that's when it clicks.
"You can read my mind, can't you?" It's not exactly a question.
When he doesn't say anything, but nods his head slowly, I am shocked.
"How?" I demand glaring at him.
Shit! he can read my fucking mind?! What the fuck?! That is just creepy!
Like Edward Cullen creepy!
His eyes darken dangerously and I realize that he is once again in my head.
GET THE FUCK OUT!
I scream at him and he visibly cringes.
"How?!" I demand again, my rage palpable.
"Because I've accepted you as my Mate" he snaps, his voice equally pissed.
"This is bullshit. No you didn't. You are a liar who has somehow managed to creep his way in my head. Stay the fuck out Alpha, or you might just regret it" I spit.
He has me by the wall in less than a second, his hand wrapped around my throat in a tight grip.
"Just because I am playing nice with you Mate, does not mean that I will take your word lashes. I am your fucking Alpha, remember that" he sneers.
Before I can remind him that he is my Mate too, he whispers, "Until you truly forgive me for things I had no control over, until you get over the past and accept the future, the future which has the both of us together, bonded, I am just your Alpha"
My breathing shallows and I can feel the heat curl in my stomach, clawing my guts, rising upwards.
Usually when this happens, when the moon comes up and the heat's wave hits me, it hurts real bad.
So bad that I have to literally just stay away from all sorts of civilization, in case Sel can't bear it. Or spend it in Teague's arms. Where Sel is so intimidated by Ruin that she just sleeps it off.
But today, for the first time, I don't feel the heat. The wave that is supposed to be a punishment of some kind doesn't even touch me, and I don't even feel a tinge of pain.
Because I am already hurting. Unknowing as it was, Alpha Ulysses Asher Black has once again managed to break me.
I don't try to fight the darkness as it envelopes me, Alpha's panicked eyes that I barely glimpsed at registered in my conscious as I give in without a fight.
Not every wolf is lucky to have a Mate.

OLIVIA'S POV
I look at the woman laying on the bed, her face pale and her heat palpable in the air.
"What did you do Lys?" I ask him, glaring at the wall, pretty sure Asher will kill me if I glare at him.
"I didn't do anything" He grumbles.
"Doesn't look like that to me" I say softly, not wanting to wake up the future Luna.
'We did the right thing' Destiny murmurs in the back of my head and I can't help but agree.
After taking that decision behind Lys' back, I was worried and upset, feeling like I had somehow betrayed my Alpha.
But now that I look at my Luna, my leader, I am damn sure that I did the right thing.
Ulysses will have to deal with it.
"We just... we fought. I reminded her that she had not yet accepted me so... I am not her official Mate yet. I am just an Alpha to her..." He says it all matter of factly.
"You did what?!" I shout and then seeing the Luna stir, bite my tongue.
"I said-"
"I heard what you said! I just don't understand why the heck would you say that to her?! Do you want her to reject you or something?" he growls at that and is about to say something, but I cut him off. When a friend is screwing up with his life, you have to call them out on their shit. There is no way around it. And I am not going to allow this idiot to ruin the best thing that will ever happen to him.
"You may have accepted her, Ulysses. But remember, she still hasn't. If you are not careful, she will leave you. Give her a reason to stay, not a reason to run" I preach.
And then I remember his demons... and as sad as it is to say, the man has an army of them.
He has to come clean with Luna.
"Tell her the truth, Ulysses. Tell her and explain it all to her; and above all, pray to the Moon that she accepts you with them" I stand up, check the glucose in the tube which has almost finished and turn towards Ulysses.
"I have injected her with a hint of wolf's bane" at his wide eyes, I explain, "I do it all the time to myself. It helps keep Destiny in check when she is in heat. And Selene is as strong as Destiny, so she will be able to bear it"
He nods, his eyes that were troubled now look relieved.
"We've booked the contractors for the school. They'll be here in a couple of days and start with the work ASAP" I know he barely registers what I've told him, and I am glad that he doesn't questions about whom I've handed the tender to.
It will be much better if he meets them, than hear about them.

Once I walk out of Luna Delilah's apartment, I flip open my phone and call my girl.
She picks up on the third ring.
"Ello?" Her voice is cheerful on the other end of the line.
"Hey girl! You got my mail?" I ask her as I get into the lift.
"Uh... no. But it went to the company email, right?" She sounds nervous.
"Yes"
"Okay then. I'll ask someone else to check it out... you know I suck with technology" She laughs it off, but I have a feeling that being not as tech savvy as the rest of the world is taking a toll on her.
"Well... then lemme tell you first hand, you got the tender"
"We did?!"
"Yes"
"OH MY GOD!" her scream tears my ear drums and I push the phone away from my ears to give them some relief as I reach the lobby of my floor.
I step out of the lift.
"Haha... congrats on your first contract in the States"
"OH SHIT! THANK YOU SO MUCH, GIRL!"
I can't help but feel warm in the chest at her words.
"No problem, girl. And one more thing, when you get here, I am giving you detailed instructions on how to do your shit with computers and mobiles"
"You will?"
"Damn right, I will"
"You know I love you right?"
"Sorry girl, I don't bat for your team" I tease.
"Your loss bitch! Your loss! Now lemme go and share the good news with boss man! He is angry as it is... this might just cheer him up" An image of the black haired giant pops in my head, when she mentions him.
I can't help but scowl.
Something is up with him. Something so weird. Or why else would I be dreaming about him last night?
I don't dream about men!
Okay I do... but not of shifter men.
Certainly not cats.
"'Kay then... I'll let you go. Buh-bye. Kiss the boss man from my side" I tease and hear her chuckle in response.
"Cool!" She hangs up and I check the new message that has popped on my screen.
It's from a man I now owe a favor to.
I don't collect in money, wolf. You got what you wanted. I'll come to collect my fees whenever I please.

I don't regret what I did... but somewhere in the back of my mind, I feel like I've made a deal with Satan himself.
