Dylan was settling in nicely. Once she got over the fact that she had to share a room with a nerd. She was fine with the fact that most of the kids in the school were boys but was annoyed by the fact that all of the girls were geeks. And let's get one thing straight, Dylan hated geeks. So the next morning, at breakfast, Dylan went and sat with the rest of the non-geeky recruits, and she was just fine with that. But it was apparent that some of the other kids weren't. "You're a girl," one of the kids had said with a large amount of disbelief and annoyance in his voice

"And you're point is...?"

"Aren't you supposed to be over there, with the others?" He said others with a hint of disgust in his voice. Dylan shrugged her shoulder and replied to him:

"And aren't you supposed to be tough? But I guess you're just scared of a little girl being able to kick your butt."

"I am not." The boy shouted, trying to sound defiant, but he sounded like an over-sized mouse. Then someone else piped up.

"Leave the girl alone, Daniel. It's her first day,"the boy then turned to her, "hi, I'm Eric."

"And I,"she leaned in close to him, "don't need your help." Eric huffed, and the walked away and sat down next to his friends. The boy sitting next to Dylan laughed at Eric's dejected face and turned to speak to Dylan.

"I like you. I'm Jack, the class clown," Jack said, grinning. He had dark blue eyes and sleek, short dark haier that constantly fell in front of his eyes. His dark skin and hair slightly contrasted from her lightly tanned skin, blonde hair and big, sharp green eyes that caught almost everything, everything except for Mr. NoPersonality glaring at her across the room. Suddenly, Dylan glanced up, scanning the room to see who was watching her, but the only thing that caught her eyes was Mr. NoPersonality's fake laughter and loud guffawing at nothing in particular. It was peculiar, but so was he.

"I'm Dylany, but if you call me that you better have a death wish." She said, finishing her oatmeal and standing up to go to her first class, Martial Arts, Jack stood up with her. He bent over, put his hand out and said:

"Then I shall call you Dyl, m'lady," he smiled at her as she took his hand, and, laughing, dragged him out of the cafeteria to Martial Arts.

---------

Martial Arts took place on the roof. Needless to say, Dylan wasn't afraid of heights. She stood at the edge of the roof, holding a Boa Staff in her left hand waiting for an opponent to come face her. But after she sent the first kid to the nurse, no one dared to come near her. They all thought she was talented, but she had been taking Martial Arts since she was five. Dylan simply stood there, for an opponent, but no one dared to come near her. Except for the teacher, Mr. NoPersonality, whose real name, she later learned, was Steve, and, of course, against his wall she proceeded to call him Stevie. This caused Steve to turn red in the face and stomp away with barely any sense of self pride.

Unluckily for Dylan, Steve decided to get his pride back, and was determined not to have it stripped away again, by one of his students nonetheless. He scoffed, like that could ever happen. He stod behind Dylan and prepared to attack in a readied stance with his hands in front of his still slightly red face. His hands were prepared to strike, but Dylan did the unexpected. With a swift spin and push with staff she had him pinned up against the wall of the roof (yes, there was a wall, the CIA may have been a bunch of daredevils, but they weren't idiots), but the bell rang before  she could do anything bad. dylan walked to the door, and turned around to glare at Steve, then she turned away and walked out.

Once she was gone, Steve smiled to himself. He had almost attacked, and gotten away unscathed.  And she didn't suspect a thing.

She should have suspected something.
