I quickly put, some mascara on my long eyelashes then applied my favorite cherry, chap stick. I brushed my side ponytail one more time and Voila! I am ready to go on a shopping trip with Leona.
I look so cute though. I am wearing my favorite, black skinny jeans and Purple ombre jumper. I combined grey flats, with my attire and a cute pale lavender satchel.
I whooshed out of my room and sat on the sofa next to Trevor, who was watching sports.
"Hey, Human going out somewhere?"
He asked me playfully, gagging at me because of the smell of my blood. He is doing this for a quite long time. He thinks it annoys me but too, bad because its not, HA!
"My blood is not that bad. I bet it must taste like, the delicious pineapple and orange juice, that I drank this morning."
I said sincerely and he rolled his eyes on me.
"You wanna bet?"
He said, leaning into my neck and licking it.
"Yup, it tastes like broccoli."
"Eww, get away from me you nasty bloodsucker. Now, my neck is covered with your saliva. Ugh, gross."
I said, wiping my neck with his plait shirt, he was wearing. He was laughing at me and I rolled my eyes.
Who made him a vampire, anyway? He must've been a dog in his human life.
"It was your dad, who did this."
He answered, me of my question that I asked to myself, ONLY.
"What? that's what people do. They ask questions to get answers. So that's what I did, Simple."
He exclaimed, in a 'as a matter of factly' tone.
Where is Leona, anyway? She warned, me to get ready in 20 minutes, because I am a slowpoke and now she's acting like one. I checked my watch again and it read 2:43 pm. Its not even sunny out there, even at this time, trust me.
The whole weather is so cold and cool wind is blowing like, someone forgot to close the refrigerator door.
Brrrrrr!
"Ok, I am ready lets goooo!!"
Leona said, taking the car key from the kitchen counter.
Alastair came downstairs with Arnie in his hand.
"He's still with you? I thought Zayn took, him a week ago."
I asked him as he put, Arnie's glass carefully on the coffee table.
"be back before 6, okay and please don't let this go anywhere, alone."
Alastair exclaimed pecking Leona's lips and she nodded.
Should I be offended? I am so confused.
"Oh, yes you are!"
Trevor, snorted and I hit him with the cushion.
"STOP, READING MY THOUGHTS, YOU TWAT! AND STOP LAUGHING!!"
I yelled at him, hitting him harder but he was laughing, clutching his stomach with his hands. Suddenly, he start hitting me with the cushion too.
Here we go. We, the two vampires are having a pillo-errm Cushion Fight, like kids. Alastair was chuckling, shaking his head at our idiocy.
"Hey! I bought this cushion on a very high prize, stop it before it you two torn them into pieces."
Leona shouted at us like a mother and took the cushions from our hands.
"Sorry!"
We both, said to her with our heads down like kids. I saw she was trying to control her laughter.
"Good, now lets go before all the beautiful, dresses sell out."
She said, taking my hand and whoosed towards the door.
I opened, the door and to our coincidence, Zayn was about to ring the, bell. I think Liam, was looking at me in wonder.
Eh, maybe he was thinking that so, this thing can dress up too.
"Hi, you guys going somewhere?"
Zayn asked us, as we let him and Liam in our house.
"Just, on a little shopping trip but trust me, I dont need anything she is dragging me with her and its been a while since, I went on a girly date so I agreed."
I explained smiling at Leona and she rolled her eyes.
Maybe, Ziam are here to get Arnie.
"Ok then, have a good time. We are just here to pick up Arnie."
Liam said, waving us good bye.
They, went towards the lounge where, Trevor is and started greeting each other.
"Hey, Leona how about you take Alas with you? I think I should stay as they are here and I think its not decent, to leave when you have guests in you house, right?"
I whispered to Leona and she raising one eyebrow at me, showing serious expressions on her face.
"Why the sudden changes, in plan?"
She asked me cheekily, Wiggling her eyebrows. I think my cheeks are red by now.
"Shut up! Its not like that besides I dont trust Trevor. he can eat them up like tacobell."
Yum, This made me hungry. Have you ever tried Tacobell? You should because they are TASTY.
"Alright, but the last thing I would worry about, would be those two idiots left with you two dummies."
She said honestly.
I have a question? Is there a tradition to offense me today? Because its happening, alot.
"Alastair, I think I need you to drive, only me to the mall."
Leona yelled and Alastair excused the lads, coming towards us.
"why? Is she not going with you?"
He asked Leona and I nodded.
"I feel like staying and besides do you really want to leave them with Trevor."
I asked him taking my flats off and he shook his head.
"No, that's why I canceled the plan to go out on the hunt. I am staying here, you two should go."
He said, grabbing my arm so tightly that I winced in pain.
"OW, What the hell Alastair? You're hurting me."
I yelped in pain. He must've left his finger marks on my skin I bet because that's how tight his grasp was.
"I am sorry. Its just i, Leona, I am waiting in the car."
He said and left closing the door with a loud thud.
"Dont worry I'll talk to him."
Leona said hugging, me then left.
What is wrong with Alas? I know he's too over protective but this much? I know he doesn't like leaving me alone with Trevor, but he's a nice lad. He wouldn't hurt me or Ziam. I dont know why I was using his name, as an excuse to stay. What is wrong with me?
"So, what ya talking about?"
I asked them and noticed that Zayn and Liam were only sitting by themselves, checking Arnie. Where's Trev? They look at me astonishingly.
"Yay, you stayed."
Liam asked me happily while, I heard Zayn lowly snorted, to himself looking down in Arnie's glass box.
Ermmm ??¿¿?
"Leo said I should stay because it's not decent to leave when you guys arrived. Besides, I didn't need anything. She left with Alas though."
I explained, sitting next to Liam and I felt he move to his side uncomfortably.
Ok¿?
"The Coffee is readyyyyy!! Oh you still here?"
Trevor entered the room, with three mugs of coffee on the tray in his hand.
Three? Since when did he started to drink coffee? Oh yeah, may be he was trying to act like, human in front of them.
"Since, you are here You can take my Coffee. I'll drink later."
He said, handing me his mug. They must be thinking that he's so generous but I know I am the only one who, can drink coffee while he can't. So, that's why he's giving me his mug.
Such, a drama queen!
"Thank you."
I said, taking the mug from his hand but I sat across Liam and Zayn, next to Trev.
I think there some problem, going on with Liam because he took the mug from Trev's hand awkwardly and Zayn, I dont know why he's constantly smirking.
"So, how is it?"
Trev, asked while both, Liam and i took a Sip together. Zayn's so interested in his Pet while his mug is resting on the table.
Yum tasty!
"Yeah, it tastes good. Thanks mate!"
Liam thanked Trevor, licking the cream off his lips.
"Yup, its so delicious thanks Trevvvv."
I said, in a sing song tune and placed a messy, creamy kiss on his cheek.
"Ew, gross Aster, what the hell?"
He yelled, wiping his cheek with his hand.
'What? You licked my neck, first so its a payback. so, HAHAHAHA'
I thought and I know he heard it because his eyes went wide.
"I'll be right back."
Trev excused us and probably, went to bathroom to wash his face.
"You want some?"
Liam offered, me some nuts.
Where did he get those?
"Zayn bought, some for Arnie and I took a little and put it in my pocket. shhhhh!"
He whispered, proudly and I nodded on his little rebellious act.
I thanked him and threw the nuts in my mouth.
Peanuts and cashew nuts, Mmmm me likey!!!!
"so, you two are quite, close to each other right?"
Liam asked, plopping some nuts in his mouth.
"Yeah, we are! that's what cousins do. You know stay close to each other."
I answered awkwardly, sipping my coffee because I dont like lying but I had to, because of what I am.
"Aright, Arnie time for you too go in your box."
Zayn said, to his pet as he stood up and bend to put it carefully in the box.
He was about to sit down when, his hand stroked against the mug and it fell on the carpet, spilling the coffee on him and shattered into pieces.
"Oh, I am so sorry Stella. I didn't mean too."
Zayn apologized, cleaning his shirt.
"No, don't worry its not a big deal. We have plenty of those."
I chuckled and Liam Stood up to help his friend.
"Where's the bathroom Stella?"
Zayn asked me and I told him the directions. He left and on cue Trevor enters the lounge.
"What happened to him? did he pee?"
He joked and this time Liam rolled his eyes, before me.
"He spilled the coffee and broke the mug accidentally."
I explained and he nodded.
"Ok I'll help you clean."
Liam exclaimed, while sitting on the sofa, to pick up the sharp mug pieces. Trevor, decided to clean the table.
I went in to the kitchen to take the dustbin, so we can threw the mug pieces right away.
"Here, have thi-"
But i was cut of, dropping the dustbin from my hands as soon as that distinctive smell hit my nostrils.
Blood?
But where is it coming from?
"Its okay, Stella I'll bandage his finger."
Trevor said, panicking from the inside because I know we both can't control, ourselves when it comes to our blood thirst. I think Trevor can control it because he has been living, between humans for ages but I can't its completely unbearable for me.
"Alright, b-bandage him q-quickly."
I stuttered out, sitting across from Liam. He was holding his fore finger. He must've cut it during, picking up the sharp edged, pieces of the mug.
"Dont worry Aster, its ok! Its just a little cut."
Oh Liam , only if you wouldn't've known that because of this little cut i can destroy, the whole town. It has happened.
"Trevor, WHERE ARE YOU?"
I yelled, grabbing the cushion tightly in my hands to control my thirst. I can't take it anymore.
"Here, Here, I am here Come on Liam show me your finger."
He said, taking out the antiseptic and the bandage. His hands were shaking because he was too close to the blood. Liam winced as Trevor applied the antiseptic on his finger.
Faster, Trev Faster! I can feel my eyes go red any minute. I cant control it.
I thought and his hands started moving more fast. He cleaned Liam's wound and wrapped the bandage around his finger tightly.
"There, done."
Trevor, breathed out, putting the stuff in the first aid box.
I think he's getting calm but I am not. He's lucky that he's wearing lenses right now or his eyes would've gleamed revealing us because they are already red. After, a second Zayn joined us.
"What happened man? You alright?"
He asked, putting his hand on Liam's shoulder.
Suddenly, I felt blood coming out of my nose.
I knew it, this would happen.
Controlling myself, takes alot of will power. My vampire side tolerates, the force of controlling my thirst easily but my human side, it is weak and that's why my nose is bleeding because of the force I applied to myself, internally.
Alastair was right I should've gone with Leona. This is going to create a big drama in front of Liam and Zayn.
"Woah Stella, you're nose is bleeding."
Zayn said, with worried in his voice and without any second thoughts, I ran towards the bathroom.
