All around me is darkness. An indescribable emptiness, devoid of anything.

"Possibly. Or possibly not. I could merely be a figment of your imagination if you wish it so."

"Literally speaking, nowhere. You are in a place where nothing exists. You are trapped in a void."
Asriel and I... we failed. Didn't we?
"Yes. You did. Your sibling did not fulfill his mission, instead he died by the hands of the human race."
If he is dead, why am I still alive?
"You're not. You are merely a shadow of yourself. Simply a string of numbers slowly decreasing. Your sibling took your soul and died with it. Because of this, neither of your souls were whole enough for either of you to properly die. Now you are here."
...What's your name?
"It is not important. I am just... nobody."
I'll just call you Nobody then.
"...Fair enough."
I'm not going to last long, am I? Numbers decrease. Soon they have to hit zero.
"Yes. You have a great amount of determination, but it cannot save you now."
