Why do they get powers and freak out?
Example: "Oh, hi honey!" my mom said for the second time. I felt sweat on my forehead. "S-stop that mom, you're p-playing," I stuttered. "What do you mean?" she tilted her head. I looked at the clock. 8:49 am. It's this morning again.
Why This Is Annoying: I don't know about you, but I would use time travel to go back in time to be friends with my celebrity crushes. If I can control it.
How To Fix This: Yes you would freak out if you find out your "special" and now you have these powers and must save the world or whatever. But be honest here. After you learn how to control it what would you do? Me well if I had something like telekinesis I would so never make my bed again. Just saying. So don't make them always freak out about it. Like at first you can but once they figured it out making them 'abuse' it. If you know what I mean by abusing your powers.
