three days; I had begun to accept the fact that Josh and I were meeting. I told myself that even if I was ugly in person, he would still like me. it may not turn out true, but atleast it gave me hope.
dad left in the middle of the night, with most to all of his stuff. mom and I assumed he finally found a place to stay, rather than causing us pain. mom seemed less stressed with him gone, almost happy.
my mom told me she was excited to meet josh. she said that I should be happy, and if Josh makes me happy, then she's happy.
she even offered to take us out to a nice dinner when he arrives, of course I told her it wasn't necessary, but she insisted.
Lucy, my little sister, decided to stay with me and mom, if dad ever tried to take custody. we knew he wouldn't, he's always drunk, and clearly a horrible father.
I'm glad dad left before Josh came over, otherwise it would be a nightmare. I won't have to worry about him tormenting Josh, assuming we're together, sharing my deepest secrets; who knows what else.
