So this is my first BL book so please be merciful, so first off thanks to ama_rin for the amazing Cover! I mean you are officially a Grand Photo/Cover Designer in my mind, if you were right here I front of me, 10M pounds, and kilos of money won't be enough for my thanks to you! So I hereby dedicate my First chapter of my BL book to you!

"Mateo! Can you come in here and help me clean the glasses?" Called Makino from the counter, also known as the mother of the latter,
"I'm coming , Ma!" The 6-year old boy called back, a few moments later the soft pitter-patter of tiny feet can be heard, and a tiny little boy carrying a dish rag, with vibrant and soft red hair, with shockingly sparkling emerald pools, came out of the back of the bar wearing a loose black tank top with white capital letters spelling and small brown shorts,
"Honey, I want you to meet Luffy! He's a nice boy and he's friends with Papa!" The mother cooed to her child.
"Cool! You know Shanks?" Asked the overly excited boy, with a bandage under his left eye, "yeah! He's my daddy!" Beamed the red haired boy. "Really!? COOL!!" the ravenette practically screamed, "I knew you two would hit it off" smiled Makino.
"By the way Mateo," Makino lowered her voice below a whisper as she leaned closer to her son's ear "Daddy is coming for a visit very soon" she cooed,
The boy just let his grin grow bigger "Yay!!! Luffy let's go play by the docks!"
"Okay!"
The two boys ran through the village heading towards the docks, the duo eventually arrived at the docks, the boys ran, jumped, slipped across the platform, but both skidded to a stop when an extremely familiar ship is spotted a few miles away , "Shanks!/Dad!" The two boys cheered, until suddenly everything seemed to turn slow-motion, when Luffy accidentally swayed his arm into Mateo's way, tripping the boy into a deep blue oblivion,
"Mateo!"
The desperate screams of Luffy were heard, but not by Mateo, but by the father of the latter a few miles away, also being faintly heard by the mother and some villagers,
Mateo's POV:
I was surrounded by blue, extremely dark Blue, I shut my eyes tight as I can feel the pain of the air in my still small lungs beginning to tarnish,
or so I thought, suddenly the water felt soothing, and calming.
I revealed my eyes to only extremely focus them on something shining at the horizon, I started diving closer and closer,
Only to see something I didn't expect, it was a glowing aquamarine ring,
It was glowing vibrantly, I inched my hand closer to it until my tiny fingers trapped it, once I grabbed it, the glowing faded and I inspected it.
It looks vintage...
I slipped it on my ring finger, and to my surprise it fits, I was suddenly pushed back by the current, I squirmed and tried fighting back, alas it was no use I finally gave in, I released my breath...
But I immediately gasped for air and....I was able to breath? Underwater?
How come?
I was pushed out of my thoughts, like literally pushed out of my thoughts when the water was pushing me downwards, I got tangled on kelp and couldn't get out of it, I kept struggling until I gave up out of tiredness
First I'm pushed through the water, then this? WHAT DOES THE SEA HAVE AGAINST ME!?
I felt warm hands untangle the kelp and embrace me tightly in muscular arms as they pull me over to the surface, once we resurfaced, I looked over and found out it was my Dad that saved me!
"Dad!" I beamed as I hugged his wet Torso, "you okay, cranberry?" He laughed as he hugged me back using my nickname, we soon got out and dried ourselves in the bar, well mostly Mom drying me with three or four towels,
"How could you do this to me Mateo!? You almost gave me a heart attack!? Thank Goodness your dad was there or els-"
"Mom, I'm okay"
"I know you are, sweetie I'm just happy your safe" she embraced me, after that I changed and wore a Navy blue T-shirt with another pair of shorts, I headed out of the back of the counter only to be tackled to a hug by Luffy, "YOUR OKAY! I'M SO SORRY!" He sniffles, I just rolled my eyes at the sweet hearted boy and patted his back.
....
....
"L-Luffy," I blushed as I stuttered, "can I get up now?" He quickly obliged and helped me up.
~Timeskip later that day~
The whole crew was laughing at Luffy for eating the devil fruit while dad was strangling him, I got to admit though, I did let a few chuckles, suddenly the bar doors went open, I was happily sitting behind the counter drying some glasses, Mom was at the back stocking up today's delivery, a tall scrubby looking man came in and sat infront of me and asked about any Sake left, "I'm sorry but we just ran out"
"Then what is everyone in this bar drinking, little boy"
My dad then interrupted, offering the last sake bottle we had instock, only to get it completely shattered... on him, I jumped down from the counter and started drying of the booze on his face with a dish rag I've been cleaning with,
The man said a few insults and yada yada and left, I was mostly ignoring him though, I don't want to be rude or anything plus I'm still young to say this but,
He's one lousy fucker.
Once the man left the whole bar erupted including my dad, except Luffy who scolded everyone for not acting up, well mainly he scolded my dad well kinda yelled at my dad, who just laughed it off.
Later that day, I was taking a walk with Luffy, until Luffy bumped up with the guy from the bar, "looky here boys, we got a loudmouth kid with a lousy child bartender" the man who I assume is the leader of these bandits laughed.
Soon it broke out into a fight, dad is here, the mayor Is here, the whole village is here, all looking at the bandit that was keeping me and Luffy hostage so he can kill us, I stayed quiet afraid of the ugly guy that's aiming a gun to my temple while another guy was holding a knife to my neck,
Ok this is SO unfair! LUFFY JUST HAS ONE PERSON STEPPING ON HIS HEAD, PLUS HE'S RUBBER HE CAN'T FEEL A THING!? WHY DO I HAVE TO HAVE TWO GUYS WHO'RE GONNA KILL ME!?
Luckily, Ben and Lucky Roo took care of them, I was about to run back to my dad, but was grabbed by my hair by the leader who also grabbed Luffy, he then just used a smokescreen and took us to a row boat and sailed away, once we were a good distance away from the Island.
He started cursing and swearing, he was basically mad with anger. He wanted to throw Luffy off the boat,
So I snapped.
"I'VE STAYED QUIET FAR TOO LONG!!," I yelled, I jabbed my finger towards the bandit.
"YOU'RE GONNA TAKE ME AND LUFFY BACK TO THE VILLAGE! GET IT? YOU LOUSY, ROTTEN , PIG-FACED PILE OF HUMAN WASTE." I snapped, unintentionally scaring the the rubber boy.
I didn't notice the ring on my finger started glowing, a Huge sea king erupted from the waves and devoured the ship along with the bandit.
We were thrown into the water. I was scared I was going to be drowned all over again.
We were luckily by Dad...
WHO IS MISSING AN ARM.
He gave one last glare at the sea king before it left with a whimper, I think i saw it look at me...
"YOU DON'T HAVE AN ARM!? DAD!? WHY ARE YOU SMILING!? YOUR NOT OKAY!?"
He just stared at me with his loving eyes, "It's just an Arm, I was able to save you and Luffy, right?"
I just kept whimpering along with Luffy,
~Time skip again~
Dad gave Luffy his hat making him promise he'll give it back one day, I then stepped up to my dad.
"Mateo, I want you to promise me something"
"Anything you want" I smiled, he smiled back
"I know your capable of many things, cranberry, I want you to promise me you'll grow up to be the next big thing, I want to see you live your life to the fullest, don't be scared to do anything you believe in."
"You'll see dad, when I grow up, I'm gonna be able to shake the work at my own will!"
"And I know your gonna look great doing it too" he chuckled before ruffling my hair and leaving. Soon, days later, Luffy is taken to live with mountain bandits by his grandfather. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to Months, I was sitting on the bar stool, mom was cleaning the counter,
"Mom! I'm bored! I miss Luffy!"
" I know, sugar! That's why me and the mayor are taking you up there to meet them today!"
I quickly jump out of my chair, "we can get him new clothes for a gift!"
"You mean the ones you were making a few weeks ago?"
"Yeah! Now it can be more gift worthy!"
"Young love is so beautiful~" mom sighed happily at me.
"Mom!~" I whined
"Okay! Okay! Just get ready and get the new clothes for Luffy! Oh by the way there is another boy who lives with Luffy, I think Garp-San said his name was Ace! So if you got some clothes you made that are a bit big then try to bring them!" My mom called as I rushed to the back.
Moments later, I was carrying two baskets of clothes while mom and the mayor were talking about something, soon we arrived at a hut like building, I saw three boys about to head inside, I see one of them and notice his signature straw hat.
" Luffy!! " he looks back at me then grins and runs up to me and Mom and gives us big bear hugsz
"MATEO! MAKINO! I missed you guys!"
"We missed you too Luffy!" I replied, hugging him back.
"Mateo, me and the mayor are going to talk to their care taker, can you show them the clothes?" Mom asks, smiling warmly.
"Sure mom!" I smile back at her.
"Luffy I made some clothes! Want to try them on?"
"Sure!" He says excitedly, taking of his shirt, I hand him a dark red tank top with the words 'THE KING' spelled in large White letters, I looks over Luffy shoulders and spot a boy with black hair and freckles, and a boy with Blue top hat and is blonde,
"Hey! Don't you want some new clothes?" I ask smiling, tilting my head slightly.
"Idiot..." I hear the one with freckles mutter, I then walk up to them, "I'm six, not deaf, I heard you, now I made these clothes myself and I have some for a boy named Ace"
"That's me, idiot" he replies,
"okay! Then take your new clothes politely!" I removed his shirt in an instance.
"HEY!"
"SHISHISHISHISHI!! MATEO IS FASTER THAN ACE!!"
Ace just blushes as I dressed him, a new Orange shirt that says 'PERFECT'. "See! Clothes don't bite! And it looks good on you too!" I beam as he blushes darker folding his hands on his chest,
I look to the blonde boy next to him, he smiles awkwardly at me showing off a missing tooth, "you look good in blue, I think I got a shirt for you!" I pull him to the baskets and to where Luffy is, Ace was about to sneak away, but I grabbed him by his collar, "your coming with me Tsundre!"
Soon I learned that the blonde's name was Sabo and we were all eating dinner, that me and mom made together, unfortunately the boys were infatuated about being pirates when they grow up that they blabbered loudly not noticing the Great demon behind them glaring viciously at his prey, The all mighty beast , or as I like to call him,
