"Chad!" I yelled running towards him
He opened his arms with a big smile on his face. He caught me when I jumping into his arms and spun me around as I wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Ambey poo" he said
"Chady bear" I said as he placed me back on the ground
I saw a girl next to him slightly glaring at me.
"Is this your girlfriend? She's pretty!" I said
"Yeah this is Kelly" he said
I hugged her and as soon as I let go I was behind Sebastian.
"Who is he?" Sebastian asked glaring daggers into Chad
"Chad!" Emily said hugging him
Alex got a look of jealousy on his face and Jace stepped forward in front of Sebastian doing the guy handshake hug thing.
"This is Chad, Amber and Emily's childhood best friend and Amber's cousin from her mom's side" Jason said
"She knows the truth?" Chad asked
Jace nodded as my jaw dropped "Emily, Katie, Belle, Marissa we got another girl!" I said excitedly
"This is Kelly" Chad said
"I'm Amber" I said
"I know who you are princess" Kelly said nervously

"Wait Chad your my cousin?" I asked

"Ok this is starting to get crazy, how many people knew I was not my aunt and uncles child before I did?" I asked

"Can we go to the beach?" Katie asked
Everyone agreed and in 5 minutes we were picking a spot and setting our things down.
I took off my shorts and t shirt leaving me in my bikini and pulled my hair into a high pony tail.
The guys stood frozen as they took in each of us. Sebastian and Jason and Chad let out growls when they saw me, Katie, and Kelly.
"Lets go before they bust a nut" Kelly said
I looked at her shocked before smiling when I realized she was just like Emily.
We ran down to the water leaving our shoes with the rest of our things. The guards stood awkwardly dressed in slacks and button ups in the blazing sun.
Once in the water Emily immediately tackled me making both of us plunge into the water.
I swam around and stood up with her clinging to my back. I tossed her off and back into the water laughing hysterically.
Katie splashed me making salt water shoot down my throat. I coughed in disgust before splashing her back and trying to run when my previously damp body was now soaked.

2 steps in I tripped and fell sending me back under water. Emily popped up out of nowhere sitting on me. Pushing her off of me I stood and glared at the 2 devious girls. Over their shoulders I saw Kelly walking around alone in the water. Chad looked like he was coming to get her so I pushed Emily and Katie into the water and ran over to her.
"Kelly come on it's me and you against Emily and Katie" I said grabbing her hand with a smile
She smiled brightly and nodded and together we ran back to the 2 demons trying to stop laughing.
We snuck up behind them creating a huge splash which scared them so much they fell.
After 20 minutes of fighting we were all tired and drenched.
We walked back up to the beach where the guys had disappeared from, and laid down to tan.
"So how long have you and Chad been together?" Katie asked Kelly
"About 4 years" she answered "have you found your mate?" She asked
"Yup its Jace" Katie said
"Who's Jace?" Kelly asked
"He's Amber's other cousin" Emily said
"You know what I just realized?" I asked
"What?" They all asked
"Well first we met Kelly the exact same way we met Katie, and secondly I can feel Sebastian somewhere around here" I said opening my eyes and sitting up.
The other girls did the same "I don't see any of them around here"
"Oh well" I said beginning to build a sandcastle as the girls laid back down
About 10 minutes and 4 trips to the ocean for water later, my sandcastle was built and the rest of our group was coming back from wherever they went.
"Woah did you just build that?" Isaiah asked falling to the ground in front of my castle
"Are you still caught up on that?" Jason asked laughing
"No I am not I just wanted to build a sand castle" I said
"This looks like the castle we live in" Elijah said
"That's because it is" Emily said laughing with Jason and Chad
"What's funny?" Kelly asked
"When Amber was 9 she wanted to be a construction worker. So she became obsessed with drawing blueprints, and because we lived so close to the beach she would always make her fantasy dream houses out of sand." Jason said
"I was not obsessed I was exploring career opportunities" I said defending myself
"I think it's cute babe" Sebastian said kissing my cheek and pulling me into his lap
"I want water" Katie said
"Me too" I said
"I'll go get you some" Sebastian said
"No it's ok me and Alex will go, right Alex?"

"Sure" he said standing
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sebastian frown and Emily blush.
"Great let's go" I said slipping on my shoes
As we walked away I could feel everyone looking at us.
"Don't touch my castle Isaiah!" I called over my shoulder knowing he was going to
Alex and I walked to one of the stores in the board walk buying enough drinks for everyone before making our way back.
"So you gonna tell me why you're acting weird?" He asked stopping once we were almost back to the rest of our friends
"Weird?" I asked as I kept walking
"Yes weird" he said jogging to catch up with me before placing a hand on my arm to stop me.
"Fine but I'm only having this conversation once" I said seriously
He nodded and motioned for me to continue
"I know you like Emily" I said
"D- do y-you?" He asked suddenly nervous
"Yes I do" I said
He scratched the back of his neck and laughed awkwardly "so you hate me now?" He asked
"Not yet but I do know she likes you too-"
"Really?" He asked cutting me off excitedly
"Yes really but if you dare hurt her I will cut your balls off and feed them to Pitt bulls do you understand?" I asked
He nodded quickly "I won't hurt her!"
"Good, now that my best friend duties are done with... I'm really happy for you both!!" I said
"Me too I hope she'll say yes when I ask her out" he said
"Oh she will" I said
"Thank you so much Amber, I really appreciate this" he said pulling me into a hug
I hugged him beck with a smile "you're very welcome now go hug her not me" I said pushing him away
He nodded before we both went back to the group.
"What was that about?" Sebastian asked me quietly on the brink of anger
"You'll see babe, calm down" I said
"I don't like other males' hands on you" he whispered nuzzling his face in my neck
I lifted his chin kissing him. He wrapped his arms around my waist making me straddle him in an instant.
"Hey brothers in the area!" Elijah yelled
I pulled away from Sebastian and laid my head in his chest.
"Fucking cock blocker" Sebastian mutter making everyone laugh
"Hey Amber can I talk to you?" Emily asked
I stood up walking off to the side with her.
"What did you say to Alex?" She asked
"Nothing you wouldn't approve of" I said with a smile as I saw him walking towards us
"Amber could I uh talk to Emily?" He asked
"Sure" I said as Emily blushed
I went back to the group and sat down pulling out my phone.
"What are you doing?" Sebastian asked
"Shh!" I told him pressing record
Everyone watched as Alex talked and Emily was bright red. He scratched his neck as he stopped talking and Emily's eyes widened.
"REALLY?!" She asked
He nodded smiling
"Are you sure Amber didn't just talk you into this because you really don't have to-" she began rambling
"Is he.." Belle asked
"Yes" I said
Alex had cut her off with a kiss and as he pulled away Emily hugged him tightly. Nodding yes.
"Yay!" I said giggling and throwing my phone to the side
"I never thought I'd see the day Emily Moratti got a boyfriend that isn't a total dick" Jason said smiling
"AMBER!" Emily yelled running over to me
"Come on girls" I said
We all stood as Emily ditched Alex and ushered us away.
"Go ahead I'll catch up" I told them
They left and I turned to Alex "Nicely executed but I'm serious don't hurt her" I said seriously
"Thanks Amber I promise I won't" he said smiling like he just won the lottery
I nodded before running to catch up with the girls.
"I'm taken! Wow this is so cool!" Emily said in pure bliss
We walked around letting Emily talk her excitement out for about 20 minutes before she was calm again.
We went back to the group to see the guys all in the water playing what looked like football.
They were broken into 2 teams with Sebastian Jason and Chad and James on one and Elijah Isiah Alex and a guy I didn't know on the other.
I laid down under out umbrella and fell asleep relatively quickly.
"You think she was serious about her wolf?" Someone asked waking me.
I left my eyes closed feeling the wondrous tingles all around my body telling me Sebastian was holding me.
"She definitely was" Emily and Jace said
"How do you know?" Elijah asked
"Because she cracked when I pressured her. That means whatever she said was important and the truth" Jace replied
"So how do we get her to shift?" Chad asked
"You don't" Sebastian said holding me tighter "her wolf is strong if she wanted to shift she would have, but she's fine how she is for now give it time"
Bri purred in my head making me snuggle closer to Sebastian. Everyone stopped talking until I stopped moving.
"Do we know if it was once or if it's an ongoing thing?" Kelly asked
"Her exact words were 'I talked to her'" Alex said
"It could just be her imagination and she thinks it's her wolf" Katie said
"No I can feel her wolf there it's just.... weird like a ghost lingering" Sebastian said
"Sebastian who are you talking to?" I asked deciding that was enough of talking about me for now
Everyone fell silent and I opened my eyes looking up at him.
His eyes widened as he looked down at me.
"Amber... look at your brothers" he said quietly
I looked around and saw Jason then Elijah and Isaiah.
"Why?" I whispered
"Y- your eyes... their like our great grandmothers" Elijah said

I quickly shut them before I felt Bri retreat to the back of my mind again.
"Amber what aren't you telling us?" Jason asked
I opened my eyes and guessed by the looks on their faces that they were back normal again.
"I don't know" I said with a sigh
"You don't know what?" Sebastian asked tracing circles on my thigh distracting me

'Are you going to leave me?' I asked
Of course not I'll be here for the long run she said
I nodded 'alright then we'll get through this together'

I blinked a few times focusing on my surroundings again.
"Hey you ok?" Sebastian asked grabbing my shoulders
"Yeah I'm fine" I said as the car stopped
We all piled out before I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head.
"Ow fuck!" I said losing my balance slightly
