"August wake up, wake up, wake up"
I groaned in irritation only because it was the morning and I was tired as hell.
"It's morning you gotta get ready for school"
I'm not goin but you can.
"Who said I was goin"
Krissy take yo ass to school.
"Uhhhh No. August let go of me you've been holding me hostage for the past 10 minutes"
How, for some reason my eyes were still closed and I was holding onto a stuffed animal or pillow.
"What do you mean how you've been holding me"
I opened my eyes and she facing away from me and I was hugging her by her stomach. I quickly let go so she can get up and not feel awkward.
Sorry bout that, I didn't know.
"It's cool I know you were sleep"
So you not goin to school.
"Uhhhhhh No, I'm too tired for that and we don't do nothin anyway"
Alright well at least get more sleep.

I got up and walked out her room and ran into the one person that'll bombard you with a million questions.
"Why were you in her room"
As much as I didn't wanna lie I had too.
I was trying to wake her up for school.
"Oh" she looked at me up and down realizing I had no shirt on
"So you went in without a shirt"
Momma like she ain't ever seen a guy without a shirt.

No she hasn't been sleeping well.

I went into the room and flopped on the bed.
I grabbed my note book and pen and read the lyrics I had so far.

I swear I had the biggest writers block ever it sucked because I was writing this song to get my emotions out. The emotions I had towards Krysten they were eating me alive so I thought this would be the best way but it turned out so wrong. But I was going to finish it no matter what.

I was on face time with Que because he was home already after a long day of school.
J. Hey wanna go on a date tonight

We hung up and I rushed into Shelia's room to tell her the news.
I saw August and Mel inside and looked at me.
"What you want baybeh"

"It's cool we will leave y'all alone but you got two minutes" Mel said
They walked out and closed the door.
"So what got you all excited"
Que is taking me out on a date and my first date ever.
"REALLY OMG. Imma tell the whole wide world" August said in a gay ass voice
"Yeah I'm totally gonna go shopping for my outfit" Mel said playing along with that same voice
"Boys leave her alone she excited for this"

I wore a knitted sweater with black leggings and my nice uggs, with big bouncy curls. With some jewelry, I did a natural makeup look and took a selfie 👆🏽.
I walked into the hallway and bumped into August. He stared down at me looking straight into my eyes and it was weird because it was like his eyes were telling a different story while his body was telling a different one.
Sorry Aug I was trying to find Mel.
"He's not here he went to his girls house"
Oh...damn, I mumbled
"Why what's wrong"
I was gonna ask Mel to drive me there.
"How come Que couldn't pick you up"
I don't know but now I have to drive and you know how I feel about driving at night.
"I'll drive you it's no problem"

I went down stair and got into August's mustang.
As we were driving we were listening to our covers of songs and some of his songs.

We were in the middle of dinner having fun laughing and jokin around but he was on the phone a lot. I wanted him to tell me about his record deal so I gave him little hints to try and end up telling me.

I was sad he was lying to me. Like just tell me the truth and it'll be ok I'll understand. My phone buzzed and I got a text from August.

Well Aug told me about the record deal.
He tore his eyes away from his phone and looked back at me.

"Look I don't know why he told you" he raised his voice a little bit

His phone kept blowing up with text messages.
Who is texting you because I thought that this was supposed to be me and you.

I snatched his phone and saw that some random number sent him a picture of a girls cleavage out in her bra. Then I quickly scroll up and see booty pics with him texting back to send more.
"Give me back my damn phone" he snatched back
"You wouldn't like it if I went threw your messages"
I threw my phone at him telling him to check it because I knew there was nothing in it.
"So you were texting August while I was gone"

"MANNNN THIS IS BULL SHIT" he hit the table making a big commotion.

I got my stuff and put $20 out on the table and walked to the front and called August.

The phone hung up and 30 seconds later I see his car pull up.
"Come here" he had his arms open for a hug
I accepted and calmed myself down.

I checked and realized he had my phone.
I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"What you leave"
My phone he try to prove that I was talking to other guys and I guess I forgot to take it back.
"I'll get it stay here"

He walked in with his fists clutched and taking big steps.
"Que give her phone back"
He threw it at August and it hit him on the lip. I knew that pissed him off so I held him back.
He touched the inside of his lip and there was a little bit of blood, so he handed me my phone.
"FUCK YOU QUE. FIRST YOU TREAT A GOOD GIRL WRONG, THEN YOU MAKE MY FUCKIN LIP BLEED."
"Of course you would call her good girl. Little do you know she was suckin on the tip a few nights ago."
I walked up and slapped him pretty damn good to where his head whipped the opposite way.
I look at August and he mouthed the words "is that true" and I shook my head and he was relieved by that.
"Excuse me sir we are politely asking you to take you and your sister home" the manager came up to him
"She not my sister and I think you should get him out of hea"
Aug let's go not worth it.
"MEET ME AFTER SCHOOL IN THE PARKING LOT TOMORROW LIKE A MAN"

We walked into the car and I sat in the back seat just to avoid him yelling.

I looked at his eyes from the rear view mirror and gave a quick glance at me from the mirror as well.
It's whatever I wanna get home delete all of our pictures, get rid of the song we were working on, get rid of the pink and purple foams he got me, all the hoodies he gave me, and erase the memory.
"What about those black suede foams"
Your crazy I'm keeping those.
He let out a small laugh.
"Can I make it up to you"

"I don't know just make it up somehow I feel this my fault"
It's not your not the one who told him to talk with other girls.

Ugh can't believe he was the one I would share my first date and kiss with.

I know literally last week you hated me, Layla was still my best friend, que was my guy best friend, and I was living in my moms house.

Nope but tomorrow I'm walking into school lookin cute as hell just to floss my stuff.

I laughed and looked at his eyes threw the mirror again and we had eye contact for a few seconds.

Well you do whatever you need to do, I'll give you privacy.
"Ok thanks for everything August you're the best" she gave me a hug.

I walked back to my room and I finally had something to write and add on to the lyrics of Kissin On My Tattoos

That's all I was able to write and everything I was writing about her was true.
Soon I fell asleep and was ready for tomorrow.
I kept debating if that's how Que was gone end up breaking it off
