I immediately recognized the voice behind the door! Ethan? But why is he arguing? I swung the door open and sure enough, Ethan having an argument with Henry.
I glanced at him and asked: "My goodness Ethan, what is going on here? Why wouldn't you just leave me alone?"
Henry held on to Ethan "Sir you cannot talk with her, I have orders that say so. Ethan looked powerless, in Henry's tough grip. Luckily for Ethan, it wasn't Chuck holding him. Now that would have been a different story!
"Listen I have to speak with you, I am loosing my mind here Alex! For God sake!" He screamed struggling to get free. I actually felt sorry for him somewhat.
"Sure come on in Ethan," I said, urging Henry to let him go. Then I continued speaking in a soft commanding voice: "Please Let him go, Henry."
"Ma,'am, I am sorry I can't, bosses orders!"
My eyes widened as I turned my head to the side and placed my hands on my waist: "Bosses orders? What? Henry, right now I am the boss. Let him go."
"With all due respect madam. I am afraid I cannot do as you request. No man is allowed to be near you. This guy here needs to step back."
"Seriously Alex, all I want to do is just explain what happened between Jessica and I. I know you're probably Hurt about our relationship but there is an explanation. I never meant to hurt you; you hurt me when you chose him, how is it working out? You are here alone, with this guy guarding your door? What are you his puppy?" Ethan blurted out.
Henry getting really agitated further tightened his grip.
In my mind, I could care less about his explanation, that's the least of my problems right now.
"Ethan, I think it's best you leave and not make a scene here."
But he refused to listen and instead kept talking, hoping to get his words across to me. I did not need an explanation because Ethan and Jessica are part of my past! Prince and Nate are all that matter to me now and in the future. I remind myself.
For some reason, he couldn't get that in his hard head which was quite frustrating to watch.
Henry finally had enough and said out: "OK that's enough!"
Clutching Ethan by the collar, he dragged him away from my presence, and out of my way.
I looked up and noticed Slash walking up to it's me, I felt excited. Perfect timing! This was my opportunity to get away. So I did, smiling at Slash. He took a hold of my hand and we dashed out of the building into his car. I felt like a giddy teen.
"I leave in a few hours but we can have some fun," he said driving fast. "I think we can make that happen," I said biting my lower lip sitting sideways no seat belt on.
He turned and playfully touched my chin. Then he said:" Sit down and fastened your seat belt. You are in for one hell of a ride, babe."
"Well go ahead," I said, then I thought "make my day; you are a breath of freaking fresh air."
it was great and fantastic, speeding down the road without a care in the word. I felt free once again but at the back of my mind, I had a brief moment where I worried about Nate, I missed him. But I quickly jolted out of that thought as Slash drove right through the cars on the road.
"Where are we going love?" I asked.
" I have no idea where we are going this is not my town; why don't we go find a coffee shop nearby and just chat or better still how about we stop the only restaurant I know, Axl and I stopped by the other day. They have the best Argentine beef in the world, it is my favorite!"
"Okay then, I will like to try some!"
As he continued driving, I mentioned the upcoming BMX competition.
"The competition sounds cool right?" I muttered feeling pleased with myself.
"Yeah.. looking forward to it."
As soon as we got the restaurant, the staff recognized him immediately. Some ladies were over him. "it's freaking you!" they screamed, they couldn't believe it was him, I just found it amusing and endearing.
"Here... sign here!" one lady hiked up her shirt to expose her huge breasts. He obliged such a good sport. I thought.
He signed a couple of autographs and they left us alone to chat. The waiter brought our food. I had a glass of wine with my meal, while he had a monster drink. I found it funny.
"You really should not drink that," I huffed nursing my drink, as he sipped on his monster drink.
"What caffeine? That caffeine sugar stuff would you rather I drink my bottle of vodka? I am actually taking a break from johnny walker!" he laughed heartily.
Just then a lady walked up to us; I looked up and recognized her immediately it's a stewardess from Prince's private airline. What does she want now?
She is the last person, I want to speak with right now. She smirked at me and turned to look at Slash, then rudely said:
" I see you can't keep your legs closed." I did not find it funny, I thought it was rude of her.
"Good thing, You don't deserve him," she's spat out at me, then she continued: "Here's how it works the new girl moves in while you get out."
Slash stood up and interjected in that moment, he said in my defense:
"Hey, stop talking to my girl that way!"
He held his hand out to me. I responded by placing my hand in his as I rose to my feet. Without another word, he gently wrapped his hands around my waist and said:
"Athena we are leaving right now, you lady need to get a f*cking life!"
He brushed past her as she stood stunned by his words; this woman was getting on my damn last nerves, should have had her fired a long time ago. I thought to myself.
As soon as we got into the car, I mischievously acted mad at him for being so protective: "you're not my husband"
"I know but I should be, right?" he joked.
I thought his sense of humor was imaginatively funny.
So I kicked him as he sped down the highway. Slash mischievously continued driving faster picking up speed as the car cruised along.
I thought we were going to fall off the cliff!
It would've been hilarious if we didn't notice another car pull up beside us. Turned out to be no one else but Henry.
"Oh, my goodness can I ever get a break?" I huffed.
"Should I lose him?" Slash asked. "Did I tell you I am also a professional race car driver?"
No, they'll be disastrous if you lose him, it will make it worse. Besides you're going to be my teacher soon.I'm sure you have a lot to teach me."
Slash smiled and said, "OK just for you I'm going to stop driving fast!"
He slowed down and brought it to a stop on the side of the road, he got out, lit a cigarette and leaned on the car. Such a rockstar move. I said to myself.
I got out of the passenger's door and stood next to Slash. Henry caught up and got out of his car and said: "Madame we need to get back to the hotel, the boss is waiting for you!"
"And if I don't Henry?" I asked, folding my hands trying to be smart.
I could see a frown form on his face, then he lowered his voice and said: " I don't need to lose my job, madam, my son is a month old; my wife relies on me to provide for her."
The thought of him losing his job made me feel bad so I turned to Slash, he held my hand for a moment and urged me to go. "It's okay," he said.
Feeling defeated, I turned back to Henry and followed him back to the car not before blowing Slash a kiss.
As soon as we got in the car I leaned forward and said: "please not a word of this to the boss."
He shrugged his shoulders, but then agreed to my request. We could both keep a secret.

We soon arrived my new apartment, Prince stood waiting for me, with Nate in his arms. I ran to Nate grabbed him happily into my arms and said out loud: "I missed you darling oh I miss you my baby boy."
"you look worn out," Prince said. "Seems like you had a busy day?"
I ran my fingers through my hair wondering what he was talking about, then I realized to my dismay how I looked like a hot mess to my handsome emerald green eyed husband. Freaking hell.
"For someone who had a day lounging in the hotel you look as though a tornado ran right past you," He said laughing, which surprised me. But the fact that he was not angry at me felt great. By now Nate began playing with my hair, I turned to look into his beautiful hazel eyes; Just like his daddy, I thought. Prince stood admiring Nate and I as we played.
"My family..." he said laughing out loud.
I turned to Prince and said: "Yes and he is going to be just like his mom, a superstar."
"Superstar?"
"Yes, a superstar."
"Well not looking like that," He said jokingly folding his hands. "I think a trip to the Paris will do the trick, but first perhaps you would want to have your own car?" He said smiling. "here. Look out the window."
I turned and looked and stared at the car with a bow on top. He handed me the keys to a brand new Mercedes.
Elated at his generosity, I gave him a kiss with Nate in my arms; Oh how I freaking love my husband. He is such an amazing provider. Prince then turned to face his son, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"He so gorgeous, isn't he?" He asked.
Of course, I had to agree: "yes, our genes make good babies." Soon, we got down on the floor as we kept on playing with Nate. My angel. I thought to myself. All the places I could go with my own ride!
"I have to say this much, this apartment is pretty nice," I said, once we got into the mood of just being together.
Prince smiled back hypnotizing me with those Hazel Hazel eyes of his. "Glad you like it, he said lifting Nate up and bouncing him in his arms, then he placed Nate down on the floor. Nate took a few steps. I got excited: "He walks! His first steps!"
Prince laughed: "sorry to tell this but this is not his first step!"

I felt a little sad that I didn't get to see his first steps. He started walking a few days ago.
I was still in drawn into the feeling of playing with my family when I turned my head to notice my cousin Alicia walking into the room. She had her hands on her belly smirking mischievously. Muttering underneath her breath she said: "I told you I'll be back." My eyes widened as I stared back at Prince. Why is she here?
