When we walked in everyone fell silent before erupting into cheers. Although the crowd was much smaller than the one I saw when we first arrived, they made just as much noise.
We walked around meeting a lot of people. Shaking hands and smiling. Occasionally I would sneak away and play with some of the kids present.
The teenage girls all looked at me in awe and the boys with lust so I steered clear of them for the most part.
The kids were absolutely wonderful. There was no bullying or exclusion, they were happy to play with whoever was available.
"Amber!" My mother called walking over to me
"Hey mom" I said
"Hello darling are you having a good time?" She asked
"Yes this is great, everyone is very friendly" I said nodding and handing the plate of food I was fixing to Molly, a little girl I had met.
"Thank you princess!" She said curtsying and running off to join the other kids
"Come the boys are looking for you" my mother said
"How do you know?" I asked looking around for any signs of the boys
"Mindlink, it's something werewolves have that allow us to communicate" she explained as we approached the group of my friends and family.
"Amber can we talk to you?" Isaiah asked
"No not now she's having a good time don't ruin it" Jace said
Sebastian came up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Lets go somewhere, I need to ask you something" he whispered in my ear
I nodded and he took my hand guiding me away from the party and into what looked to be the garden.
"Amber in my 17 years of life I have never met anyone quite like you" he said as we came to a stop next to a fountain
"I can say the same towards you" I said with a smile sitting on the fountain
"You're beautiful, smart, funny, cleaver, kind, caring, sexy as hell, I could go on and on you're the perfect girl" he said looking me in my eyes
I blushed speechless
"And I can't bear to be your friend another day" He said
I looked down sadly "you don't want to be my friend anymore? Why?"
"No, I don't" he said seriously "but only because I want to be so much more" he added
I looked up at him to see he was on his knee holding a ring in front of him.
"This is a promise ring" he said seeing the panicked look on my face
"If you agree to be my girlfriend, I promise to protect you, be there for you, support you, love you, and one day make you my wife" he said
Tears fell down my cheeks at how much passion he was putting into each word.
"Amber I know we haven't known each other for long but I can't do this anymore, you're my world and- and I love you" he said
"So will you do me the honor-" he said nervously
I cut him off before he could finish "yes! Sebastian of course!" I said jumping off the fountain and into his arms
He hugged me tightly a relieved sigh leaving his lips before he angled my chin up and kissed me.
I pulled away after a few seconds laughing.
"Dammit Sebastian you made me ruin my makeup! Tina worked very hard on this" I said giggling
He slipped the ring onto my finger with the biggest smile on his face.
A chorus of the deepest most deadly growls sounded making me jump in fright.
I looked over to see my family and friends all standing there.
"Uh how much of that did you all hear?" Sebastian asked
"The part right before she said YES!" Emily said bouncing in happiness
"We're going to be bridesmaids!" Katie squealed
"No! I will not have it! She's too young to be engaged! Amber take it off!" My father said storming towards us
I shook my head shaking in fear of the enraged muscular man glaring at us.
He grabbed my hand trying to take the ring off but I quickly snatched my hand away as Sebastian pulled me behind him.
"Carlos calm down" my mother said pushing my father away from me
"SHE'S FUCKING 16! NO DAUGHTER OF MINE WILL BE MARRIED AT SUCH AN AGE ESPECIALLY TO A BOY WHO ISN'T HER MATE!" He yelled
I sobbed grabbing Sebastian's hand and running into the house.
I went straight to my room grabbing my suitcases and anything that was taken out of them.
Sebastian said nothing for a while just packing his own things.
When I couldn't stop crying he stopped what he was doing and pulled me into a hug rubbing my back and repeatedly kissing my forehead.
"It's ok baby they didn't hear everything" he said
He kept repeating that holding me tightly against his chest.
The door busted open and again my angry father stood like the big bad wolf (no pun intended)
"What didn't we hear huh? You get her pregnant?" He asked
My crying resumed and I felt the moment something snapped in Sebastian. He shifted me behind him and glared back at my father.
"We're not getting married you dumb fuck I asked her to be my girlfriend!" He growled deeply
Everyone fell silent shocked as they looked to a distraught me and a furious Sebastian.
"I want to leave" I whispered
"No Amber we just got you" Isaiah pleaded
Sebastian's glare melted and he pulled me into his arms "Amber this is your family are you sure?" He asked
"If all they think of me as is an immature hoe I don't want to be here, I don't care about the title they can give it to someone else I- I just want to leave" I said my voice cracking
He nodded and we left the room leaving everyone in shock.
"God dammit her first boyfriend and you fuck it up Carlos?!" I heard my uncle yell as we left the house
One of the limo drivers took us back to my house where I packed the rest of my things and when Sebastian noticed my shaking hands and uneven breathing he drove my car to the hospital.
He stayed with me the entire time I talked to the doctor and told me he would always be there for me. They gave me my prescription and we left, Sebastian driving us to his house.
When we got there we didn't get out, he just pulled me into a hug letting me cry.
"It's ok baby, we're going to be fine" he said
"I love you" I whispered
"I love you too" he said carrying me inside
When we walked in there was no noise and all the lights were off.
"You live alone?" I asked him
"Yeah my uh parents live in NY" he said with a grimace
I figured he didn't want to talk about them so I nodded
"So this was the Batchelor pad huh?" I teased looking around he set me down so I could explore
"It's clean!" I said in amazement
He nodded "I don't care for clutter"
"Come on you should rest, you can look more tomorrow" he said
I followed him up to the second floor and into a large bedroom.
I took off the huge poofy dress and the stupid tiara, leaving me in my undergarments, and climbed into his bed.
Soon after he climbed in beside me wrapping his arm around my stomach and pulling me closer to him.
I flipped over and looked up at his face. I traced his features lightly with my finger as he drew circles with his finger on my lower back.
"You and me against the world baby" he said before leaning down and kissing me. He gripped my waist tightly moving me on top of him so I was straddling him.
I could feel his friend wake up and poke me in the thigh and smiled into the kiss. He licked my bottom lip silently asking for entrance and I granted it without hesitation.
The longer we kissed the more sparks I felt erupting from each point our bodies were touching.
After a while he pulled away from my lips trailing kissed down my neck and tommy collar bone.
We both froze when he kissed the spot where my neck and body connect.
"Baby if we don't stop now I won't be able to" he whispered in my ear, his voice breathless and husky
I nodded pecking his lips before falling to his side and leaving one of my legs draped over his. We both wrapped our arms around each other and I rested my head on his bare chest.
I quickly fell asleep to the constant thump of his heart and the security of his arms around me.

I awoke to the smell of bacon eggs and pancakes wafting throughout the house.
I got up putting on Sebastian's dress shirt from yesterday that was filled with his scent and walked downstairs.
The sight I encountered was swoon worthy. Sebastian was shirtless with low ride jeans on cooking breakfast at the stove.
When he looked at me he smiled gesturing for me to sit at the counter.
"Good morning" I said settling into the seat
"Morning baby, you have any allergies?" He asked
"Nope" I said
"Great then eat up" he said setting a plate of steaming hot food in front of me followed by a fork and a cup of orange juice.
As he was fixing his own plate his phone rang. I began eating the food and moaned with satisfaction.
He shivered and I laughed as he answered the phone without checking the caller ID.
"Hello?" He said
"Oh hey Jace what's up?" He asked making me freeze
The smell of the delicious food got to me again and I continued eating.
"Yeah she's fine, eating her breakfast now" he said
"We're at our house" Sebastian said looking at me
I blushed with a smile "I mean exactly what I said Mr. Casanova we are at our house, Amber is alive and well and she'll be fine here with me" he said sitting next to me and putting the phone on speaker
"You are not her mate, you have no right!" My dad yelled seemingly a bit less enraged than he was yesterday
"Actually I am" Sebastian said
"What's a mate?" I asked through a mouthful of food
"I'll tell you later" Sebastian said
"Amber is that you? Honey please tell me where you are" my mother said
"Amber stop acting like a spoiled ass brat and tell us" Jace yelled
I shook my head at Sebastian and he hung up the phone.
"Do you think I'm being a brat?" I asked
"No I think you need some time away from all that's going on, I don't know how they are just expecting you to take all of this on your shoulders" he said shaking his head
"But I also think you need to talk to them and work it out, they're your family and you will regret it if you don't" he said
I thought it over for a moment and nodded seeing the truth in his words. "Alright you're right, I need to talk to them"
"1234 Glenn Road, don't fuck it up" Sebastian said answering his phone then hanging it up
"You should probably get dressed, I don't think anyone will appreciate you dressed like that" he said "although personally I love it"
I pecked him on the lips and ran upstairs to get ready knowing they would waste no time in getting here.
I had just finished drying my hair when I heard the doorbell ring. I quickly put on a pair of shorts and a t shirt, pulling my hair up into a ponytail and not bothering with makeup.
When I walked into the room our friends were sitting with Sebastian while my family was talking amongst themselves.
I sat next to Sebastian who put his arm around my waist and looked at my family.
My dad cleared his throat and looked to be trying to control his anger.
"You bought a house with him?" He asked
"No this is his-" I began
"Our house" Sebastian insisted
"What happened in the garden?" My mother asked eyeing the ring in my finger
"I asked her to be my girlfriend and gave her a promise ring" Sebastian said
"What are you her master? Let her talk" Elijah said glaring at Sebastian
"It seems that when she talks she is accused" Sebastian shot back
"God I'm going to fight you" Elijah muttered under his breath
"Do it, we all know you're just jealous because you're attracted to your own sister" Sebastian said
I quickly placed my hand on his chest turning to face him.
"You said I needed to talk it out with them let me talk" I whispered
He nodded sitting back in his seat his scowl not leaving a blushing and angry Elijah and Isaiah
My mother looked at them with confusion then disgust.
"Are you mates?" My aunt asked me
"I don't know what that is" I said shrugging
Sebastian traced his finger down my face making me take a sharp intake of breath and shiver.
"Yes we are" he said
My parents' faces relaxed a bit as did my Aunt and Uncles.
"What did he promise?" Jason asked
"To protect me, be there for me, support me, love me, and one day make me his wife" I recited the moment replaying in my head
"Wait lets rewind for a minute, you 2 are attracted to her?" Jace asked my brothers
They both glanced at me the down to their hands nodding
"What kind of brothers are you?" Emily asked shocked
"We aren't her brother's!" Isaiah yelled startling me
"What do you mean?" My uncle asked looking at my parents who were glaring at Isaiah and Elijah
"We're adopted" Elijah said quietly avoiding my eyes
"That doesn't make a difference, you have the same parents" Bella said
"But I thought she liked me too" Elijah said finally looking at me
"I did, still do...but as brothers" I said
"Exactly which is why we didn't say anything" Isaiah said
"So is everything good, can we go back to the castle?" My mother asked
"Amber is not going anywhere with those pervs" Sebastian said
"They're her brothers they wouldn't dare" my dad said
"We can live here like we are now" Seb argued
"With no parental supervision, I think not" my dad said
"Weekdays I'm at the castle, weekends I'm here is that a decent compromise?" I asked annoyed at this point
They thought it over and nodded "Great now lets go" Elijah said walking over to me and grabbing my hand pulling me out of my seat.
Sebastian growled pushing me behind him ready to attack my brother.
I grabbed Sebastian's hand making him calm down and looked at Elijah "where to?"
"You have a meet and greet and the girls wanted time with you" he said as everyone walked out of the house
Again 2 limos were waiting. "Amber that's yours" my mom said pointing to the second one
I nodded and Sebastian and I got inside. I saw the sharp looks from my parents and raised an eyebrow back at them.
They got in their own limo with everyone else and a minute later 2 men came into our's.
I concluded they were Sebastian's stylists and turned to the ladies.
"Ok what's for today?" I asked
"How about this fitted skirt and black sheer blouse?" They asked holding it up
I nodded and the ladies on makeup went to work picking out complementing colors to go with my outfit. I took off my clothes and looked at Sebastian when I felt his eyes on me.
I lifted his chin and pecked his lips "eyes up here buddy"
I slipped the undershirt and blouse on easily but when it came to the skirt lets just say my cake wouldn't fit. I tried wiggling in my seat to get it on for 5 minutes and finally just knelt on my knees since the makeup ladies had to get started and I was moving too much.
I finally got the skirt on and it surprisingly didn't feel tight. My makeup was finished just as we stopped and my hair had been braided into a fishtail braid to my right, with my tiara sitting in top of course.
"Ready?" The driver asked
I gave him a thumbs up seeing my family already out of their limo and the door opened. The guard stepped away seeing Sebastian sitting there and he quickly took his place.
I slipped on my shoes and took his hand exiting the car.
I smoothed my skirt waving at the numerous amount of people and walked over to my family.
"I need your stylists numbers" Emily said
"Your ass looks great in that" Bella agreed nodding
"Took her the whole ride to get it on" Sebastian muttered teasingly
"Beauty is pain" my mother was as we all turned and waved at the crowd.
"Not always" my aunt countered
