1 year later.
Niall and I were almost a year into our marriage. We had a little boy, and named him Leo.
My father always loved the name Leo. That was going to be my name if I were a boy.
Leo was just turning 4 months old. He had my chestnut brown hair, and Niall's sea blue eyes.
The boys come by everyday, almost.
Niall and I hadn't moved out of our house, but we will someday.
I stopped my YouTube channel all together. I never made videos anymore. I just never had the time. But I still kept my account.
Now, I sat with Leo in my arms, bouncing him on my leg.
The boys walked through the door, laughing.
They all immediately turned their attention to me.
"Hey Rosie." Louis said, walking my way. He glanced at me, then snatched Leo and started to laugh.
"And Hello there little baby!"
"Louis, stop. Please. It hurts my eyes." Harry laughed
Louis glared.
"Well. Fine Harry. No cupcakes for you later."
"Awh. Lou I'm sorry."
"You're forgiven" he grinned triumphantly.
"Cupcakes for what?" I asked
They all looked like deer in headlights.
I giggled.
"Nothing." Niall reassured, coming over and kissing me on the forehead.
"I don't believe you."
He laughed
"Fine. But it's nothing."
I nodded suspiciously.
"Hey Lou. Take Leo upstairs and put him down for his nap please." I said.
"Sure." He ran up the stairs.
I turned to the boys.
"So. Baking Party?" I said sarcastically.
They all looked at each other and nodded quickly.
"So that's a no." I said laughing.
They laughed.
Niall strolled up to me and put his arm around me.
"Babe, you'll know soon enough."
"Okay. But it better not be anything that could harm my little boy. So that cuts off a lot with you guys." I warned.
"Alright." Harry laughed.
The doorbell rang.
"Come in!" I yelled.
Danielle came in
"Ro!"
"Dani!"
We hugged.
"Danielle and I are going shopping. So don't do anything stupid."
"Of course not, mom." Louis said, walking back down the stairs.
I smiled and shook my head.
Dani and I then waved goodbye and went shopping for Leo.
NIALL'S P.O.V
Rose walked out, and the boys and I sat down at the table.
"I can't believe she actually forgot." I sighed.
"I know. I guess she's so caught up in Leo and your 1 year anniversary coming up." Liam suggested.
"Still. She shouldn't be forgetting it."
"We better get set up."
"Okay."
Zayn brought out all the decorations and we got to work.
Louis and Liam taped up streamers, Harry made the cupcakes, Zayn blew up balloons, and I made sure everybody was coming.
I called Sam first.
"Hey. You coming tonight?"
"Oh my! It's tonight! I'll definitely be there. But I'll have to find someone to babysit Haley." She answered.
"Okay. I'll see you tonight!"
"See ya, Niall!"
We hung up.
"Hey Niall!" Zayn called.
"Yeah?"
"How many of these you want?"
"Uhh. 20!"
I sighed, knowing Ill have to pop some of them later.
I dialed Ed's number and waited for an answer.
ROSE's P.O.V
Dani and I have been shopping for hours.
We went to Carter's, and found so many things that I'm carrying two fully sized bags full of baby clothes.
"Do you think we should be heading back?" I asked.
"What time is it?"
I looked at my phone.
"Almost 6."
"Yeah. Boys are probably waiting." She laughed.
We got into the car and started back home.
"I wonder what their doing!" I thought aloud.
Danielle shook her head.
"YOU KNOW! TELL MEEE"
She laughed.
"No!"
"Ugh."
I layed back in my seat and started to go through my purse out of boredom. Wallet, keys, phone, weekly planner, brush, hairbows, lipgloss. I decided to go through my phone. I looked through all my pictures. I smiled. it was from the day I had Leo. I was laying in bed with Leo in my arms. Niall was leaned over the bed grinning like an idiot. Then I swiped. It was me and Sam standing together holding our babies. I went to the beginning of my camera roll and started looking. It was a picture of me and Dad. He had his eyes crossed and I had up a peace sign and was laughing.
I smiled.
As we pulled into the driveway, I noticed several cars in the driveway.
"Leo is in there! There better be no drunk idiots!" I said.
I got angrier until I heard that the house was quiet and the lights were out. A wave of realization hit me.
"Dammit Dani!" I said.
"What?!"
"Why didn't you remind me?!"
Today was my goddamned BIRTHDAY! How did I forget?
Danielle laughed, and we headed toward the door.
We walked in and I flipped on the lights. There was a chorus of "Surprise!" and I acted startled even though I figured it out in the driveway.
Niall walked up to me and gave me a kiss.
"Happy 21st, baby."
"YOU CAN DRINK!!" Harry shouted.
I laughed.
"Where's Leo?"
"With Eleanor. She agreed to watch him tonight." Louis answered.
"Alright. Hand me a drink!"
"You're first legal drink has to be good." Harry said, handing me a cup.
"What is it?"
"Moonshine."
We laughed.
I took a drink. The burning in my throat was bearable, but it still...burned.
The night went on, and I only had two drinks.
I didn't want to be the kind of person to get hungover. I just didn't.
Once the party was over, and everyone had left, Niall and I went upstairs.
His soft lips planted kisses all down my neck as we fell onto the mattress.
"I love you, Niall." I said.
"I love you too, Rose."
I smiled, and pulled his lips down to mine.
