People had been talking about that one day of the year that they are romantic.
Yes, it was Valentine's day!
The one thing I found very ironic is that it fell on a Tuesday...
What a shocker!
Tuesday had already been special for me and Chase, so Valentine's would be double special?
Who knows what is on Chase's mind for Valentine's.
Days were getting closer to the big day!
I went to the store, wanting to get Chase a present.
Going through the store, I ran into Taub.
Taub and I didn't really interact much, but I heard he was a nice doctor.
Taub worked for House, meaning he was on his team.
"Oh hey Taub"
"Hello Cameron" he greeted me.
"You're here buying a Valentine's, aren't you?" I asked.
"Yup, it's that time of year isn't it" he said smiling.
Taub got some chocolates and a card taped to the box.
I decided to buy Chase an Aussie gift.
Just a reminder from his homeland.
I had gone to the cashier.
But the way I remembered it...
I got the wrong gift.
Taub and I were both buying gifts, so I accidently got his chocolates instead.
I also wrote Chase a card, but instead, I got the card that Taub wrote to his wife.
Yikes!
I didn't realize then, that it was a bad idea for me and Taub to get the same colored bags.
So I walked out of the story with his gift.
Then, the way Taub remembers it, he walked out of the story with mine.
That Tuesday of Valentine's Day, I went home.
And there he was.
"Here's your gift" I told him, as he looked at the bag.
"Well thank you" He said as he got the back from my hands.
Chase opened the bag, and found the chocolates...
"Chocolate?" He asked.
"That's not what I got you...what?"
"Then why do I have chocolates..." He asked.
"I think Taub might have your gift then...whoops"
"So Taub is my Valentine?" He joked.
"What! No, no, no. It was an accident" I explained.
So, I went out to go chase Taub.
And that's how it was...
