Caleb awakes to sudden thrashing and screams. He sees a man in a dark mask dragging what he recognizes to be his parents across the hallway into his room leaving behind a trail of blood.
He is so frightened that his breaths are becoming short and labored as to not be found awake. The man starts writing something on the wall in his parents blood, then when finished walks toward "sleeping Caleb" and crawls under the bed.
Caleb lays unmoving in his bed until his eyes adjust to the darkness. He is now able to read what it says in the wall "I KNOW YOU'RE AWAKE" Reading he gasps and he starts panicking when feeling shifting under the bed...
