I guess there's a lot of confusion regarding the last chapter that I updated.
I'll try to put it in simpler words.
The Winston family:-
Riley and Amelia were a couple.
Amelia was Riley's second wife.
Katie was Riley's and Amanda's daughter. Amanda died of cancer because of which Riley chose to marry someone else.
Amelia didn't like Katie and she killed her.
Riley loved his daughter to the core so he killed Amelia and later on committed suicide.
The Caretakers:-
John waters and his wife Sarah waters were the caretakers of this bungalow.
Obviously this happened much before the Winston family came here.
This was probably a century ago.
The Cyrus family:-
The actual owners of the bungalow. Richard Cyrus killed his wife Emily Cyrus.
He also killed John and Sarah because they saw him doing the crime.
It is said that Emily's spirit took her revenge and killed Richard in the same way like he killed her.
Please don't get confused.
Richard killed his wife and her spirit took her revenge from him.
